Add support to your RV water tanks

I know this was a long time ago, but did you notice any wear or get any leaks where the support bar end edges or straps touch the tank at the corners?Was wondering if it would be a good idea to put some thick felt at those points or not. In the process of doing this same thing, thanks for the guide!

Adding a grey tank to my RV. Most videos showing a tank install are replacing. All support is already there so no help at all. Love your solution! Thanks!!

This is a nice solution. I am about to do the same while I am under there doing suspension work. After a year are the angle iron brakets staying in place? I am wondering if they could rotate out if not secure. I assume the part we can't see is wedged between the water tank and the cross supporting arm. A year later would you recomend they are secured somehow in addition to being a hook? Thanks!

Could you please tell me what bracket you used inside the strut. I cannot find them at any of my Lowes.
