Add Voice Effects to Elgato Wave Mic with Voicemod

Thanks for the informative video Frugal. Some months ago I noticed VoiceMod came as part of an Elgato update but I've never really played with it.

I'm from Germany . And we also have a lot of people here who upload something and where they think everyone understands, but they all make their video a speed run and where they don't explain anything further. Great tuto ! My problem doing that is that I hear both the normal mic output and the voice mod Sfx as the same time in the streaming output

You would need to turn off the normal and just monitor the SFX

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, my wave 3 is not showing that it's picking up any audio in the software. it works 100% because I pugged in my headset to the headphone port on the mic and it worked fine. I dont know what I'm doing wrong and I know I'm probably just being dumb.

I want to be able to use a keybind to activate a voice and then let go which I know you can set up in voicemod. But I have Streamoutput going through SLOBS as MicAux 2 and also Elgato Mic wave 3 as default mic so I could add a noisegate to it. But from what im gathering my normal voice will be picked up by SLOBS unless I manually mute it?

I have this problem.. I sound like im in a cave in stream when i talk with voicemod. I sound just fine when hearing my voice :(

Maybe with an analog headset plugged into a soundboard without Voicemeeter.

Hay mate subbed to your channel. I’m a live streamer new to this, I have ps4 & live streaming to Facebook , by using elgato and streamlabs. I’m having trouble getting game sound fro game like running shoot and cheating to people on my video once I finish streaming can’t hear it in video , but I can hear it all on my headphone when I’m playing. I can hear my live commenting but won’t record game play stuff, can you help send me Facebook friend request if you can help. Your the best at explaining it all on KZbin.

@@FrugalStreamer all sweet mate I think I’ve got it down but you could watch me and help me perfect my stream better. I’m using the elgato capture card software only thing that works for me. With gameplay sound , talk to player on game and talk back with live commentary. Won’t work for streamlabs though. Strange
