Hey I hope the fiddler crabs can climb the rocks! They need land to! Its about a 80% water and 20% land ratio.
@Zeeallthewayioi Жыл бұрын
And if you did not know they need brackish water.

They're in low level brackish, and I have land for them in the corners + plus the rocks to climb on. Thanks for reaching out!

They look so awesome. Will you post a video if you add the Halocaridina? That would be amazing, I love that setup 😍

Definitely! My next step is to add the shrimp once these crabs are settled in. And thank you!

@@atparium Nice, I didn't know there were brackish crabs you can pair with these shrimp. Looking forward to your video :)

@@glassyGREEN_ oh yeah, fiddler crabs are brackish, and they shouldn't bother the shrimp (i hope).

Wonderful videos - very well done. My question is whether the crabs need some dry land to burrow for parts of the day? I am setting up a fiddler crab tank (and have the same stones as you), but wondering if dry sand is needed. Thanks
@atparium Жыл бұрын
They really benefit from having land. Most of my videos don't show it but i do have 2 large sand mounds on both corners that allow the crabs fo burrow if needed. Mine will usually burrow if they have recently shed. Otherwise they find other places to hide or are out in the open "dancing"
