My narrative junior thesis project during my junior year of the SUNY Purchase Film Conservatory. This is the final result of 6 1/2 months of pre-production, a week and a half of shooting, and nearly 4 months of post production work. Shot in East Stroudsburg, PA, Purchase, NY, White Plains, NY, and Yonkers, NY. Filmed on a SONY FS100.

Keep up! 37 days is good, but you're still in very effed position. Stay sober, don't count days. Work out, run, whatever it takes. Just occupy your time. If in need, know that you can always add, but never take off.

Very good movie. Yes, addiction comes in many different forms and strikes any age with huge blow. It destroys family connections, and maybe most painful of all things is that even when you're 14 yrs clean like me, there is no real trust anymore. Doubt in peoples eyes never goes away, ever.

the thing about the drug is that it possesses the brain by all means. in any direction you want to go, you realize your first demand is that substance. for me it's the tramadol that I've been through for 7 years and still can't getaway easily

I,m 48,I lost everything from being a junkie.Wife,daughter, education, job,health,car,thousands.n thousands in money,but most of all...my dignity!!!More than 25 years of heroin addiction, and still trying to find a way to be clean.(tried almost all sorts of help).I never steal,never committed any crime,I don't hurt others,won't sleep with others girl, I give my seat to less vulnerable in train or buses, give cash to homeless, Thus,....I,m just a normal person...but just can,t find that little "screw" on me that needs tightening.But ,grew up with a violent father,it affected me deeply....But my daughter keeps me going and I still have hope.........

Hang in there. There are options to help ease the physical pain and psychological pain as you quit. Methadone, suboxone- have you tried that route and if so, did you feel like it helped tighten the screw a little bit?
