Neil Keshvala not really, social phobia is a madeup term to sell prescription meds, in reality is just extreme shyness. Shyness has always existed since the birth of mankind. There are many animals who are shy, introverted, fearful by nature, they were just born that way.

Neil Keshvala Definitely. I was shy and quiet going into public h.s. in 2005. It turned into social anxiety around when MySpace was popular and I had thousands of friends and pics on their, talked to so many people there then eventually Facebook. Then others apps and now I after 21 I have no friends because I'm so shy and don't know how to. Spend so much time alone because it's easier to socialize.

I like this. I used to be shy, and when I'd rely on things that encouraged my isolation by entertaining me and engaging me, even though it's artificial, I got worse. When I worked in restaurants I changed. I had to step out Of my comfort zone to make money. I completely changed. I was able to not be anxious about that stuff because I practiced it every day. And in turn I got better and more relaxed. I ended up being a beloved server, a trainer, and the person who hugged half my guest bc they were regulars- and I grew to cherish them. We're all born with certain personalities, but we are what we repeatedly do. And you CAN mitigate shyness! You just have to allow yourself to be uncomfortable until you can do it without thinking... And you truly realize the benefits and the good feelings you get from social interaction- even if they weren't available to you before bc you didn't feel comfortable trying and assumed that meant this is how you have to be.

The intro is of vSide, the nightlife-centered MMO for teens that got its start as a promotional game for the Pussycat Dolls' album release, PCD, the PCD Lounge, but became its own thing with incredibly memorable visuals. The singular guy who owns the vSide assets (as well as that 3D Tyra avatar, most importantly her face that was modeled specifically to her likeness) now uses it for his little bullshit VR business meeting software. Those very obviously 2000s rave culture & other counter culture looks, and also Actual Tyra Banks's Face as an option. The deal with Tyra and her show expired so her show's set was removed from the game- but here's this guy still using her face. Somebody should tell her.
