Love how you use the binder clip and love the idea of putting a heart or other symbol to show you've dealt with all the tasks and such.

You demonstrate that we can be both very productive and organized while also adding fancy things (but not too much). I'm not a washi tape guy but I've seen a couple of ideas in your video that could help me and that blank black washi tape (and other more man colors) also exist :) I'm prone to be as minimalist as possible but, as the brain works, we are more able to find something when we remember in images and colors instead of words. I tried in the last two months to use the Alastair Method for my future log and to use as many compact layouts as I can but in the final, I think my brain works better with square style layout like in your monthly log. Thanks for this great video. :)

Samuel Tremblay Thank you for watching and your very kind comments!!! So glad that you found something helpful. I’m back in a hard cover notebook again (over a year now) and so busy that my fancy things is pretty minimal now. Some highlighters are helping me right now. Lol.

Lol, what do you mean "months counted out?" Ya, the brown one was the only filled one, and it wouldn't have been if I followed the general suggestion of starting a new one each new year. It spanned Oct 2014 - June 2015. Lol

@Addicted2Planning
@Addicted2Planning 8 жыл бұрын
Cynthia Sexton hi there; I would turn to a blank spread and perhaps start mind mapping the project, listing out actions... Etc. add it to a master projects list - then during a weekly review - scan each project and their respective spreads for any next actions... Move those to my daily pages and or forward planning pages as a task. Hope that helps!

Hi Jenna! I hope you've spent some time over at Ryder site www.bulletjournal.com It's the perfect place for beginners. Don't get overwhelmed... start simply and build slowly with what works for you. When it doesn't work for you anymore - get rid of it. :) I hope you're doing well!!!

Thanks!! Yes, being flexible and as decorative or not in your own planner is great! As your needs change, so does your planner. Such a great system! :)

I ABSOLUTELY love Bullet Journaling. It's such a wonderful tool. Excellent video. It was alittle hard to hear your voice though. It sounded like your volume was too low.

Can you make some videos showing a flip through of each of your journals? They looked super cool and functional. Thank you 😊

Thank YOU Carie for watching.! Every time I make one, I'm in awe of how much work goes into it. And yours has music, an intro, and I'm sure a ton of editing. I'm sure mine could be better if I spent the time.... I do one take and upload. Lol

It's like the bullet journals - we can make them works of art, or we can just make them quick and practical depending on our needs and mood. :)

Awesome video! I'm still in my Moleskine and looking to update to a Leuchtturm 1917 very soon (and hoping to win a giveaway to get it before breaking down and buying it, lol). I love how yours looks! And these are great hacks! Keep it up!
