I am brand new and am ADDICTED to ADDICTED. The biggest reason? Good looking men explain every detail--it's really the detail that's so perfect. The good looking part is just a bonus. :) Every time I watch, though, I feel the need for a bunch more gear. I'm having to devise ways to creatively fund the endeavor.

learned a pro tip from an oldtimer, no barrel swivels on spoons, duel snap straight to spoon or tie a loop on the ring. U might get line twist but it gives it that swaying action underneath instead of just spinning out like crazy. i have a flouro topshot ontop of my braid that will help the spoon twist one way, then unravel the other way. works out
@kencrowne96952 жыл бұрын
Ive heard this too. and started doing it no questions asked. I am now starting to get steelhead and kings on spoons. I used to swing flied because I LOVED the grab. When water is high or clear I KNOW a spoon can still get down....and still give me that grab that I crave.

Split ring gives the spoon a completely different action than if you add a barrel swivel. Just split ring on = wider wobble add barrel swivel = tighter wobble.
@nolanmoore76823 жыл бұрын
Hey Marlin, with that stacking as you called it. would using different colors, like a red and white, black and red, blue and pink. stuff like that. would you recommend using dual colors for stacking or would you recommend using a solid color?

Really 35 pound braided line. The fish doesn't stand a chance of breaking your line. I have been fishing rainbow for 25 years and have never used more than 10 pound test line with an 8 pound or 6 pound fluorocarbon leader. Give the bows a chance. SOME SPORTS
@pnwfisher214410 ай бұрын
You haven’t fought many big fish have you?
@pnwfisher214410 ай бұрын
Of course you haven’t used more than 10 for rainbows… I usually use 4lb for them. Now steelhead… you do know they can be quite large right? 5-35lbs.
