Big Dave, they’re also called dog salmon because the Native Alaskans would dry and feed them to their sled dogs, while the humans stuck to sockeye! Also nice backpacks

I've never seen a show on catching Chum Salmon before. The fights are explosive compared to other salmon I have caught. I fish for Kings & Cohos on Lake Michigan and though the kings fight good they're nothing like these chum salmon going ballistic in a sea run river in the PNW. Do Chum Salmon taste bad?
