The HARDEST Fighting SALMON In The WORLD!

This breed of salmon is by far pound for pound the hardest fighting salmon in the world! Chum salmon or sometimes referred to as dog salmon because their less favorable meat are probably one of the most fun catch and release fisheries we have in the Pacific Northwest. Chum are available to catch in November on coastal or inland rivers all over Washington and Oregon. Big Dave, they’re also called dog salmon because the Native Alaskans would dry and feed them to their sled dogs, while the humans stuck to sockeye! Also nice backpacks
