Just the information I was looking for. Thanks for making this video. I bought an nh34 and realized that the date wheel is for a 3.8 crown, but mine is at 4 o'clock. Good to know that it can be fixed by swapping the date wheel from the original nh35 the watch came with.

Nope, I wish it was that easy. The dial dots won't help if you use 3 o'clock movement. It still will be misaligned

I’m sure I saw that if you buy an NH36 3 o’clock movement, the date still lines up if you use it in a 4 o’clock case. Meaning only the internal day wheel would need to be modified as in your video. Are you able to confirm or shed any light? Thanks

Thank you! The technique for bezel insert and the crystal swap is the same as any other watch. I think I've made a couple of videos😊 Check Modifications playlist. For the bezel insert, you basically have to submerge the bezel into a nail polish remover to melt the double side scotch tape underneath. After 10-20min of soaking (depends on which chemical you will use) the bezel insert will come off easily. Then you have to clean the remaining glue and stick the new one😊

Thank you for the reply. I am very new to modding. So far, I have tried to remove the bezel from (2) Chinese watch cases and the cheap design of the click spring and material it ended up going badly. I have had no issues with oem cases.

What if you dont have a 2nd watch sitting around and with the different Datewheel? Your tutorial clearly shows how to modify the NH36 DAY wheel but is there a way to also modify the DATEWHEEL?

There is, but it's a headache... you can buy a date disk without the gears, and simply glue it on the old one. But you will have to sand the first one somehow😬 I wouldn't even start it..

I got one in the mail now.. I love seikos and have a real skx 007 that i put a nh36 in, and havnt really been doing anything modding wise or buying watches for a couple of years now.. This one and thanks to ur vids has me pretty exited.. I had to re order some hand installers, lost mine but rest of my kit is basically there lol.. Im very excited to mod again... But still scared of hands especially the seconds.. Idk if some are different but the og seiko 007 seconds hand bends if u look at it wrong lol. But imma find a dial and go for it..
