I didn't think it would hurt the original print because to bake a messed up print off you have to let it bake for a very long time. I was wondering how the name would come out and it looks great. One thing I would ask is, do you think the second turn is necessary because you turn the tumbler to make sure all sides get adequate heat right, so if you are only doing a small section a rotation should not be needed.

I find it helps if you allow some overlap like 1/8 inch or so.

What temperature do you use for your convection oven? I usually use 400 degrees for 2 mins, turn, and another 2 mins. I am wondering if this would be too much heat when adding the name. Thoughts? Thank you.

Only if you were able to tell that it was sublimation. However, I’m not sure how you would determine that. I wouldn’t recommend it.
