Could the Simrad AP be updated to output rudder angle? Or is that a more expensive approach?

The Simrad AP is receiving an analog signal from the dedicated rudder angle indicator directly to the Auto Pilot computer and not over the N2K network. This means there is no broadcasted N2K rudder information available that the Maretron system can interpret.
