In this video, I add six catfish into the gar pond. Blue catfish grow fast and can reach sizes of over 100 pounds. My plan is to feed them like I fed the catfish in the old pond. At the end, I feed my pet alligator gar and turtles.
Thanks for watching!!

A lot of nature is like that. If you find it helpful maybe grow a garden or go fishing, quiet time in nature is so under-rated when it comes to medical benefits. Stress is the deadliest poison we consume. I used to just sit in a chair in the garden, watch my KZbin videos there, smoke and wait for things to show up. I made friends with a rabbit, came face to face with a coyote, and a dog came to say hello too. I'm rambling but it was so nice.

Not sure where you heard that, but Blues, especially when they reach around 5 pounds, become dominant predators in a pond and prefer live fish. Sure, all catfish will eat a dead fish, but it’s definitely not on their list of preferred items.

if you planted bushes around shores the ponds, certainly a lot of insects will come for them.Especially dragonflies and mosquitoes. That insects are essential for ecosystem like this.most crucial tip on this job,you must avoid from water hungry plants like eucalyptus. You can be surprised when you see how rapidly they can consume pond water. my last advice is you can planting water straws. Catfishes enjoy hanging among straws and probably they prefer egging on there. Water straws are really important.if there was few water straws ducks did not fly from there.

I used to travel to a place in Oklahoma called Osage hills. It was a beautiful escape and there was a pond with sunken trees that you could only use a trolling electric motor on. The Bluegill I caught in that lake looked like Crappie and the best eating you can imagine. Not the small ones your used to seeing. During the bullfrogs mating season, you could see the sunken trees below you on the boat and all the frog eggs hanging off the limbs, the water was clear as well. If you like to travel, please look it up next vacation. They have cabins and camping area.
