In this video, I stock Florida largemouth bass and copper nose bluegill into my ponds. My goal is to grow the new world record largemouth bass by training and feeding them. Thank you guys for watching!!

This has been quite the journey so far. From the start when Brazos was just a tiny fry, to now seeing him and all his siblings go into the ponds after years of watching them grow... It's been amazing to be part of this journey. I can't wait to see how big everything gets as times goes on! I bet the gar are gonna grow like weeds once they get out into the ponds.

Birds can be unbelievably voracious feeders... especially on any small Bass, Bluegill, or whatever is in the pond that cannot find for itself, so yeah, I agree with you. Dude needs to find a way to protect his newly-acquired investment. Whether it's screening material for like a screen door, or even working a Tarp over the top of the fence that he has... those two ideas should work just fine, until time for the Small Bass have time to mature. Then release them...and there ya go! Mission accomplished!
@ethanraw11322 жыл бұрын

@Windy41412 жыл бұрын
For real, yo! Right now, those Bass are going to eat every smaller fish in that pond as quickly as they can because they'll have nowhere else to hide from them, and then all the larger animals are going to come in and take the bass because the bass have nowhere to hide either.

@IllusionQueen4Eva2 жыл бұрын
I guess that means he'll go back and feed them every now and then. I doubt he'll completely abandon them, since he's been feeding them for years.
@steveklick2 жыл бұрын
He'll still probably make videos of that. Honestly there are probably laws about it with moving fish from one body of water to another that aren't checking out and he probably doesn't want to get in trouble. Those fish all have a good set up that they probably like and prefer verses a change to clear blue water. Who knows he might even eventually bring them over in secret and not tell anyone!
@marshmallowmountains46362 жыл бұрын
@@steveklick It'll most likely eventually stop being clear and blue, especially if the ducks stay. It's extremely rare in nature to have water like that, and it's not like he has a filter or anything going.
@steveklick2 жыл бұрын
@@marshmallowmountains4636 no he has a clay and mineral base. It will stay very clear and once he actually gets some more plant material that is good then that will be the filter and it might loose a little of its blue color but will still keep it and clear up a little bit, its getting murky now because too much soil exposure with the wind that's not getting filtered. I've seen it before and its how it works with ponds especially with clay bottoms. They will have crystal clear water.
@marshmallowmountains46362 жыл бұрын
@@steveklick Oh really? I've seen plenty of clay bottom ponds like this turn murky, like the one in my town with ducks. It's filthy because of the ducks. Hopefully that doesn't happen with his then.

There's really no reason for them to leave given that they have more than everything they could ever want at that pond, especially a constant supply of mealworms and other food that only humans can give them.
