There is away in which you can combined normal map and glossy map together in any photo editing software like photoshop and later export the file as 32pit image with alpha channel, this way let you use glossy map in Lumion instead of using normal map only, and I found the auto generated normal map in Lumion is better than Poliigom I don’t know why but guess Lumion like to over exaggerate the maps a little.

Interesting...will have to mess around with the auto-generated maps a bit - thanks!

I know how to use them in Vray but Lumion doesn't seem to have an option to add gloss and other maps. Is it that Lumion generates these maps automatically? Thanks!

I don't see much the bump effect. Does it really apllies? Moreover, you have a kind of "moiré" pattern in your texture. Might not be an easy task to get rid of that in post... ;)

Your videos are really good and useful, I learned a lot from them. There's just one thing you can do to improve the quality of those: - repetative use of words with no meaning ("kind of", "real quick", "quick", "actual", "probably", etc.). Just count how many times you repeated those words and realize that sentence would be better without it. - video could be 3x shorter without excessive talk. Shorter videos are better. All that being said, great job, I like your videos 👍🏻
@TheRenderingEssentials5 жыл бұрын
I appreciate the comment - I'm always working to get better. That being said, I'm also weighing the cost of making videos perfect as opposed to getting them out the door - I could script every single video and make everything perfect, but then I'd probably only get a video uploaded every two weeks. I'd rather get an imperfect video out there helping people. Thanks
