I've decided to try Engineice in my CForce in place of the factory coolant. I'm hoping it will improve cooling on the trail and keep the fan from running all the time.

My Cforce 500 always runs high as well but I read on Reddit it’s normal for these machines.

Might be, but having the fan on that often gets annoying. At least for me.

Has this helped keep the engine cooler? Thanks for the video.

Thanks. I haven't been out in the heat since doing it. This summer, I'll have to pay attention and report back.

You sure it isn't just a little bit of residue oil left over in your PAN.

My Cforce 500 is running cooler after proper engine break-in period. The first time i noticed it was after 500km. Now after 800km and fresh engine-oil i getting 2-3 bars while driving. 45km\h and 7°C it drops always to 2 bars.

What year is your 500? In 24 they added another bar to the gauge, 5 bars. Mine is a 22 and always runs between 3 and 4 bars. At 4, the fan comes on. At low trail speeds the fan comes on a lot imo.

@@RideAlongOutdoorsCh. Mine is 2023 Gen2, exactly like yours with 5 bars. At the beginning this was normal behavior, first 100km it ran almost at 4 bars, even under -5°C. I never saw 2 bars. Now it is opposite. At some point at break-in period, i felt the engine running much smoother and the temperature dropped. Yours has 370 miles it means the engine is still in break-in period. I felt mine getting better in about 600km. I could feel it because used the vehicle to get to work daily for a month.

When I ride my cf600 I live in northern Ontario when it's cold outside it doesn't even shows a bar the whole ride unless I sit an idle I might get one bar. But so far with over 2000 km even on the hottest days it usually only ever runs between 1 and 2 bars it might hit 3 but it goes down quick with the fan It's a 2022. I've owned a lot of 4 wheelers and so far this bike has been just as good if not better than most.

Luckily my host clamp was loose at 5he pump when I bought it😞 so I changed all the fluid right away Wasn't really on purpose though I'm just glad I seen it before it got hot.

To flush out the coolant system without having to buy expensive crap, use white vinegar mixed with distilled water. It’ll do just as good if not better than radiator flush.
@RideAlongOutdoorsCh.3 ай бұрын
I didn't really do a proper flush. I just dumped a little coolant through the radiator to get the old stuff out. It's only got 300 miles, so the system shouldn't be that dirty.

@@RideAlongOutdoorsCh. I was meaning it more for getting the green coolant out completely before adding the engine ice, not necessarily the system being corroded etc.

Lot easier to get that plastic off than CF600 I'll tell you that. I can't stand why they have to put this plastic over the engine on all new atvs stupid if you ask me. It holds heat makes it so you can't wash your engine and it's harder to tell if there's something leaking or broken you just can't keep an eye on your engine like you should be able to. What if you have a cracked boot you'll never know until it's too late because you can't look in there. stupid.
