Note the green repeater is still there. The main reason I did this modification was to make it easy to see when the hazard flashers are on.

Great video. I did something similar on my 1968 mini after installing hazard lights from your inspiration. I used the two amber warning lights to flash when the hazard lights were on. The 1968 mini has a green repeater for indicators. All the best, Paul

I think that this is a Morris Minor 1000 vehicle. The original turning signal lights operation is done by the indicator lever situated on right hand side of the steering wheel column. A green colour flashing bulb illuminates when this lever is turned up or down when turning the car, and this was the original indicator of turning light signals. I have seen this on Austin Cambridge cars. My late grandfather owned a A55 Cambridge and it had the same feature of this beautiful green light for turning signal. It was so unique at that time! I still remember it! This feature was later added to Morris Minor 1000 cars. My late father's 1959 model Opel Rekard Olympia did not have such a feature. Only several British cars had this feature and i liked it very much in those days. I think what you are doing here is a modification. Am i right!? I am a man living in South Asia.

Best tutor I have ever watched. Thanks, I'm setting about upgrading my minor with all the mods. Iv ordered all the bits but I'm hoping to use a column switch off a 1300 vanden plas I think I can fit a green light (as minor) to the stalk end and use the horn wires as indicator tell tail ligh, will it work?. Iv been in touch with a chap who makes modified indicator swith covers that allow for the bigger switch. I only hope the self cancelling work or I'll have to get a lucas 35737. Hi Scott. I did the diagrams with Gimp. It doesn’t have any fancy tools for drawing wires. It’s just a matter of laying a few out a pixel at a time, then cut and paste. It’s a free program with no ads.
