Adding Main Tabs, Submenus and Backgrounds on Aeon Nox Skin in Kodi

Just found this. As a Kodi noob trying to navigate the labyrinth that is kodi, this is the type of tutorial I have been longing for!This gal has a great voice and is easy to follow. There were subtle differences maybe because I have kodi 17 but easy to figure even for a beginner. People should know you can't configure kodi 17 default skin libraries. Again thanks!

Great video! I was wondering have you had any issue when going into setting and trying to disable a section such as "pictures" or "concerts" and when you hit the enable button it will not stay disabled, or enabled? hopefully you can help. i have this skin however when im viewing a movie or tv show from one of the addon and i use the remote to press the curved arrow just to view the list of shows again i can't seem to return to what i was until i keep returning all the way back the main menu.my show is still playing in the background but i have go all the way back.any idea of why its doing that. When i had confluence i could go back a few screens but then when done i could pull up the far left side screen and do full screen and the movie would show

Hi. I added Aeon Nox to my tablet, but I can't disable the custom tabs. However, I am able to on my laptop. Any suggestions? Or is this just a bug? I even un-installed the skin and when I reinstall it everything is how it was before. Is there a way to do a fresh install? Thanks.

to add background pics to fire stick you need to push them to the device using adbfire. That's how I do it.

I have a Mac and I use adbLink to add my Kodi programs on a Fire Stick(no longer called adbFire). I have tried to move 1 picture from my Mac desktop and I pushed it over by using adbLink. I can't find where my picture went to? When you transfer background pics to the fire stick, where can I find my picture that I sent over? Thank you.

Easiest way is to make a folder inside the background folder for that particular tab. Then go to Set Multi-Image Background instead of Set Single Image Background and point it to the folder

you would need a different skin. Nox doesn't have widgets.

My 17.3 does not look like yours. I click on kodi and it takes me directly to kodi movies, tv shows, radio, add ones etc. how do I get to your screen . Mine is a long list screen, nothing like your screen. Why ?

sorry i'm sure you've sorted this. 17 default skin is estuary skin. You need to go to Settings icon and Interface and click on Estuary then get more then find nox

Instead of going to Add-on when choosing the tab, choose Common. Favourites is at the bottom of the list.

Not sure you can do anything with the favorites folder but for a normal list click left and change the view.

You didn't enable system in the skin settings. I've done that before. Go to Power. Click Settings, Appearance and Settings tab right below where it says Aeon Nox. Go to Setup the Aeon Nox main menu. Scroll down to Settings and enable it at top.
