Oh yeah! Mike Powers was my first official vintage guy too! My best friend gave him to me when I was ten. He could care less about him, sat in a closet, with busted right arm. HOURS of fun with him and my ATV!🤣 I have a replacement in my collection for the one long lost to time and impaired memory… The Palitoy version is definitely in my radar! That atomic heart is just 70’s tacky AWESOME! Thanks for sharing!✌️🤔🇨🇦

I'm glad he was able to go on some adventures with you instead of being trapped in the purgatory closet! Glad you liked it 😊🙌

That is a very cool story Greg! Selling a collection, only to return later and trying to re -acquire what you sold is familiar to me also.....Lol..... As you said life happens and things go away but, It does not mean we can't look for them again.....Awesome video Sir!!

Really? 🤔 I guess I've never compared the two in hand so when I find the American one I'll compare the two. Thanks for commenting 🙌😊

I started collecting GI Joe's in 1970, I moved to LA in 1987 , went back home to pick up my boxes if his Joe's and Mego super héroes but Mom blames sis and sis blames bro and bro blames Mom again so it all went to the trash, when my son turned 6 he got a Duke real American heroe 12" he had heard all the adventures I had with my Joe's, so we started collecting them, then in around 2020 I came by videos from skunk works GI JOE customs and GI Joe the lost chronicles so I got motivated to collect vintage Joe's now I'm running out of space for my collection Mike power was my least favorite but after Adam and Jeff did a few adventures with Mike Power he's become one of my favorite, I just restored 2 of them, great video keep em coming.

Mike Power was one of my favorite as a kid. I may flock one of my heads too get that same look. I am curious about the hand modification you did: does his right hand spin?
@filmaholic178 ай бұрын
Definitely seemed like an unsung hero for many kids. As for the hand it does work surprisingly enough. Before I put it in there I shaved a little bit off the sides so that it could maintain that function.
