My 30 x 50 steel building shop is located at the end of the county road. Only one way in or out. It was broken into and all the tools, generator, loose metal, copper wire (from the power company transformer to the last outlet inside) and other items were taken. The reloading equipment and all ammo was taken. We have a good idea who did it but Sheriff has not acted yet but they are under surveillance . Sometimes things happen you can't control. All I can say is I do have some native guard snakes on my property now and they don't like intruders. A natural remedy for an age old problem.

Dennis Waddell I feel your pain on that. You know who done it but can’t do anything about it and law enforcement takes there sweet time too. Makes you want to take the law into your own hands but then that makes you a criminal too.
@Lichor23695 жыл бұрын
Thats why I love Texas, stand your ground law. You feel threatened in those types of circumstances the law is on YOUR side not theirs, they will ask them (If they survived the encounter) why were you on someone else property? Pretty sure it holds the same consequences as Breaking and entering in some counties.
@OKLAHOMA_473 жыл бұрын
Dont know who told you that...you cant just murder someone for simple trespass. Stand your ground just is a no duty to retreat qualifier - protects you from needing to prove in court that you tried to retreat or deescalate prior to lethal action. You still have to prove your action s were reasonable responses to a reasonable perception of danger. You aint gonna walk out free if you just kill someone for being on your side of your fence, there has to be a reason.

The reason you're citing is exactly why I stay out of Commiefornia. Now what concerns me is that Ohio is starting to lean that same way. But, I'm relatively close to two other states that are Pro 2A, and if need be- that will be my option. The craziest thing I've had didn't even happen when I was out and CCW. I got cornered in a room in my basement by an obsessive ex g/f, wound up putting three deer slugs in her to have her stop advancing. I wound up having to pay for one of her knee replacements because they decided it was not needed since I had already taken out the other knee and her hip. But like I said then, she didn't stop trying to get to me with her knife until I took out the other knee with the third shot.

Just a thought if the solar panels don't work in their current position. Build 2 triangle brackets to hold it out at an angle. I'm sure you could weld it on, grind down, and paint to match. Might be able to bolt the brackets in and then bolt/screw the solar panels to the bracket. Maybe that'll catch more sun while keep it away from the work areas of the trailer. Keep up the work.

Re: battery for the trailer , I have a dump trailer and also winch for my truck and trailers on a plate . So I ran some I/0 wire from the batteries in my truck to front and rear bumper mounted a Anderson plug to the bumpers and on the winch . And made a pig tail with Anderson plugs on both ends so when My dump trailer battery is low, I just plug in to the plug on bumper to the battery on the dump trailer and bam full power super clean and easy . I also took a pair of jumper cables cut off the alligators on one end installed An Anderson plug on it and now I can just jump if need be from the rear of truck or the front and never open the hood it’s really slick set up and no one borrows my cables :) really easy clean set up .

@VBELTandSON5 жыл бұрын
Ralfie pretty sure it comes with that. But I don’t use truck every day so it sits sometimes for a little while. Solar helps during those times
@ralfie88015 жыл бұрын
V-BELT and SON I'm sure solar is a big help, I've thought about getting a portable one for our trackloader. I've been looking at Diamond C trailers too, but the way they word the option list it looks like there is no way to charge that battery unless you opt for the 110 VAC charger you have on yours. I can't find anything about it on the website either, or maybe I just haven't found it yet. Maybe it just comes with the truck charge wire if your options include something like a winch or electric trailer jack that requires a 12V battery. I was hoping you would know if yours had that so when I order my trailer with a winch I would know if I needed to ask for that battery charge wire from the truck. Thanks for your reply.

Awesome video! My Diamond C came with a solar panel to charge the hydraulics battery. 1st problem is that If you end up using the winch for an extended period of time you will run out of juice. 2nd problem ive found is that if you end up using up all the battery power, the solar panel will not be enough to get that battery charged for the next day. Its more of a trickle charger. I ended up adding a battery for the winch in the front and running a 12V line from the truck to the trailer, and connected the battery in the front to the one in the side to keep the winch going no matter what and the batteries fully charged all the time. ***On the topic of the squatters, if you put "No Trespassing" signs along the perimeter of your property, can these "squatters" still come on your land and claim their squatting rights??

We've got 25 acres and are the first place on our little dead end street that comes directly off highway 97 about 8 miles north of Redmond, Or.............the end of the road sits a guy you may or may not be familiar some kind of shoe brand that has kind of a lazy check mark but it's more rounded in the corner like a 4 year old drew it............anyway some guy named Phil and he must be a from over seas or has ancestors off Game of Thrones because his last name is Knight........I dunno but their place is huge and like getting into Ft. Knox, where all these little 5 up to 80 acre places lead up to it. We had only been in our place 4-5 months and met all the neighbors on the road except for the small time gig at the end of the road but learned all the different employees and contractors rigs who go on and off that ranch as well the neighbor's rigs. I get up for work one morning and the windows were opened and I hear a four wheeler go hauling the mail past the house and thought "that's weird the neighbors are out feeding livestock already, oh shit they must have some get out" was the second thought. Then my mother in law comes in from smoke break and says "I just saw a guy on our property, he walked out into the trees parallel the road behind the pumphouse." So I get on juliette's (romeos......family haha nickname) and the giant ultra mag of mag lights that look like a wiffle ball bat and go start my car for work. I heard the four wheeler slowdown after passing our house but there's also a 90 degree corner on the street and after is about 150 feet up to the stop sign at the highway, so thought nothin more of it while making my lunch until the MIL said there was a trespasser. So cops are called, then we call the neighbors right before the end because they have a bunch of roping steers and rigs spread from hell to breakfast on their place as well as renters who rent rooms they've built into their shop building. They heard the four wheeler but the renters help them with chores and working livestock so they figured a tenant grabbed the wheeler because there were critters out...............well some tweakers had stolen the wheeler and cased all the places on the road except Ft. Knox looking for shit. The guy on pur place went through our pumphouse and grabbed a backpack thinking he really had something when the previous owner had put canned food in it, got into the in laws little 1500 silver-ado, rifled through shit, then left the backpack in there and left right before MIL saw him sneaking out. If he only knew that every other rig was unlocked with the keys in it and my shop was unlocked with my chainsaw and a couple grand in hand me down tools, the rotten bastard coulda had somethin. That's been 2 years ago and I still don't lock anything or take the keys out of my rigs.......not even the 4th gen........I know, I know, stupid but my kids always have something in a rig they need or we have livestock get out and need to hop in something without forgetting the key. My wife bought a great peerinese which is the giant white sheep dogs because of that and I've still yet to go buy a, how would you say it..........a Pull It So The Object Leaves because my taste is expensive and I want "1,911" of this item..........but they also haven't came back and stole another wheeler from the neighbors or shopped the rest of the road. And F'n eh for the second ammendment 🇺🇸
