Thank for sharing your story, and touching on the grief of old self as well. I’m 4 months into my diagnosis and still up and down and this gives me hope. 🙏

Thank you. I really paid attention to your experience of your hospital ED crisis - not being able to raise your arms and the speech vs thought disconnect, etc. Been there - mental confusion and speech abnormalities are a part of my AI package. In fact, a few years ago I experienced a "small stroke," essentially a 20 minute tia. Now I wonder if I wasn't just having an adrenal crisis. In fact, when the emt's hit me with sodium and my wife hit me with a handful of hydro, I got better pretty quickly. I never thought of that experience in that light. Thanks and so glad you're getting better.

I am scared I have got Addison’s found out when I went in the hospital for five months ago, but my doctor is not gave me no medication and I’m always tired and drained and my life is not normal and I get brain attacks every month attacking my brain it’s very scary, I’m supposed to go back to see this primary doctor and I’m going to tell her that I’m not doing that great. I hope I can get some help.

@@chronicallyfit_withjill this is really scary. I got to get some blood work done. They want to check my cortisol. This is my return visit to them. I’ve been through nothing but nightmare for six months now I’m afraid I hope that if I end up on the medication I’m scared to even take it because I don’t know what they’re gonna do but anyway thanks for the video. Just been praying that I can get the right treatment the right help

I got another question to ask you do you take any vitamins or anything like that around your medication or do you take it? Take any kind of vitamins like I take vitamin D3 K2 and magnesium and other stuff do you take anything like that at all? And do you take it away from your medication? I need to know just in case I get on medication.

@@SheilaMore-l4v Hi there best thing to do is to talk to your doctor and pharmacist about your specific medications and how they may possibly interact with any supplements you want to take...but yes I do take supplements and for me most are fine taken with my other meds

How do I know i have the right endocrinologist
@chronicallyfit_withjill5 ай бұрын
hmmmmm...good question...I would go by if they listen to how you feel and actually try to give you quality of life base on your symptoms and feedback.

Is our endocrinologist learning from us because when I got diagnosed in hospital I was handed a load of papers to told to read them and follow the rules and sick days I hadn't got any idea what he was on about so I gave them to my daughter and asked her she then talked to the doctor and explained that I can read but don't understand what I am reading it I have always had to listen to what the person saying and try to make best of it I have no consatrion and I have always been very forgetful but got worse I thought I was in early stages of dementia is this possible that I have always been something to do Addison
