Nice to see someone taking their time and doing a good job!..." we never have time to do it right but we have time to do it over"!!! That saying is from a 90 yr old friend of the family. He's right too, most people are in such a rush and then wonder why it all falls apart a couple of years down the road! Lol

My father was a brick layer. Learned his trade in the CCCs. He built the house we grew up in. Very meticulous in his work, like you are. You should write a book on home remodeling. I think its such an important skill. God Bless!

You are so talented to do all the work yourself. You save a lot of money that way. My father was like that too. When he came aback from WWII he built our house from the ground up. I hope you and Elizabeth has a wonderful and blessed week.

My dad didn't build a house but he made a home from the inside. Woodcarving was his favorite. Made furniture, kitchen cabinets. My folks were born in GERMANY. Smart people and.loving. Their were in WW11. Love.

Don't throw it away. Like you said. SHARE it or use it for another drain. Sell it. LOOKS GREAT JOB I love and prayers in JESUS name

Don't throw the tubing away! Sell it on OfferUp, Craigslist, FB Marketplace, or whatever medium your area uses. Then you get a little of your investment back while saving it from the landfill.

We've used that for a french drain down one side and across the back of our yard. Our back yard was surrounded by five other homes who's yards were high than ours and of course our yard became a small lake UGH!!! So hubby got a french drain digger and layed that drain piping and after that NO MORE LAKE in our back yard. This was in Seattle where the annual rain fall is minimum 33 inches a year LOL. GREAT JOB and it looks BEAUTIFUL!!! God's blessings to you.

I worked for a large supplier in my area and I sold concrete and masonry supplies for 10 years. I feel you on the masonry aspect of building. The only pleasure I think I could get from masonry is finish work..ie: natural rock facing around a fireplace etc… things that people see and can appreciate the work you have to put into it. Doing all that foundation work that only you and an inspector can appreciate before it’s buried to the rest of the world and never to be seen again…. Ehhhhh. Thanks for sharing sharing my friend. I’m enjoying every bit of this. God Bless you both.

Oh my goodness I'm exhusted just watching you, I now have a better apprication for how everything under my feet was done. Who knew how much time and effort goes into what's underground? Hi. Mr. Bill. Ty. 4 this video. This is a great example of why math is important in the basic part of life survival. A shelter in a home. 4 the remaining material of the ADS, if your son Barry can not utilize why not donate 2 Habitat 4 Humanity r repurpose r recycle when U & Ms. Elizabeth get your chicken's? The young people of today need 2 watch this video 2 see why math is important in everyday life & survival. Like U & Ms Elizabeth say, "Be Bless, Live Simple, Live Free. Ty, again.

So impressed how you were able to do the cinder block foundation. I had to laugh when you were putting in the drain pipe because it looked like you were wrestling a giant black snake, lol 😂. Where was Elizabeth? I kept expecting her to peep her head out of the kitchen door 😉. God bless and have a good weekend. It’s been really hot and humid here in Maryland, 94 with heat index of 104. But I’m not complaining because I do not like winter, it’s cold, dark, depressing and blah!

Get you one of those spray bottles you connect to your water hose like the ones Windex has for outside window washing; fill it up with Clorox and then spray that side of your house that has the mildew stains and it will look good as new. Let it set for a while then rinse. I do this about twice a year on our home and it works great and is cheap! 🙂

I grew up using feet and inches and have had to learn to use metric measurements, but I still judge things in feet and inches. Many rulers and tape measures that we buy will have both printed on them. A metre is longer than an imperial yard, since a foot is equal to 30.5 cm. that makes a metre nearer 3ft 3in.
