I’m totally the same way with relationships, I’ve only had a few but they’ve all been long term and soon after the other. I feel similarly to you in the sense that I don’t feel like too much of myself is lost when going into different ones, I’m still able to obtain my independence within them 🤷‍♀️ everyone should really just focus on whether you are happy or not!!

Thank you for this vid Cammie! I feel very similarly re: friends not being careful regarding the pandemic and that impacting my relationships with them, it's really tough and isolating. I've also been feeling particularly sad about an ex who's no longer in my life recently, and your words about how people are often not in our lives for a reason but that doesn't take away meaning from the time we did spend with them (and that they are still part of us) was something I really needed to hear. Lastly, your answer to how you're able to commit to relationships easily was illuminating for me. I really struggle to commit and it's a big issue that I'm trying to navigate - hearing how committing feels easy for you because you feel very solid in your sense of self and your desires, and therefore the outcome of the relationship won't necessarily have a huge effect on that/might not cause the same fears it does for some of us was a new perspective for me. I'm definitely going to muse on those words a little.

I know what you mean about friends not being careful during quarantine. A bunch of my coworkers went out to the fair and a Beach Boys concert. And my brother keeps going o these huge crowded pool parties at bars at Lake of the Ozarks. Oh, and I work in a nursing home so that makes it 10 times worse how my coworkers are acting like nothing is wrong.

I totally get how you feel when it comes to people being careless! I live with my mom who is currently going through breast cancer which puts her at an even higher risk for covid. When she has to go out for a walk at 6am so she doesn't get neuropathy, we have to avoid people because 9 times out of 10 they are not wearing masks. Its truly annoying!

As I can tell you are so passionate about skin care but also helping others, would you ever consider looking at skin care and make up routines for people on heavy chemo. I am 36 and sadly this year was diagnosed with breast cancer. During a pandemic having cancer has been a humbling experience and I am grateful I live in England and have access to free health care. and I am being treated .........but, I miss my eye brows. DUDE same!! my life has definitely changed due to covid who's haven't! BUT it really grinds my gears when I see friends going out, taking the wrong approach to this. LIKE bro just because time passed doesn't mean we pretend it's over lol. I just think to myself "CAN WE ALL PLEASE TRY TO BE SELFLESS FOR 2seconds , because we all have cabin fever. " I'm in my 20's, id like to go to the bar, go on dates with my gf, go to the gym, BBBUUUUUTTTT the difference between us and them is WE choose to help out our neighbors and think about our grandparents and father, mother and loved ones who aren't youthful and this could really affect them. Yes! People do think the virus is over and it’s maddening. I work in libraries and the amount of people/patrons I have to tell them in a really flat tone (otherwise I’ll have a what they hell is wrong with you tone) to please go put a mask on. The pandemic sadly has supported my cynicism and feeling that people are selfish. Nearly every day I groan and think people need to be smarter. On a positive note-dogs were adopted a lot during quarantine.

wow great Q! I see myself in both at different times in my lie and different parts of who I am. I relate to Tom in the sense that he fantasizes people. He sees what he wants to see in them and ignores the bad. I used to really do that. I also see myself in Summer with being selfish and thinking that it's okay as long as you are open and honest and verbalize that you don't want something serious. Actions speak louder than words and her mixed signals were confusing as hell. At the end of the day, they just weren't each others person forever but I think the relationship for both of them was extremely important which is how I feel about any of my previous relationships.
