Jack and I exchanged some nice messages over this situation in order to resolve it the day after this incident. I was absolutely prepared to have this situation fade away, to not exacerbate anything. I've been off the Internet for about a week. But I am quite disappointed by what I've heard and feeling as though I've been thrown under the bus. There is also the matter of past writing which is a whole matter unto itself. In the end, drama is lame. But, I'd prefer to set the record straight and not be painted unfairly. Elijah and I have spoken a lot about this. Initially we wanted to de-escalate. But, given the new information, we will be discussing this in full detail when You Are Here is back January 3rd. Thanks for all the love. You are superstars.

As if we wouldn't find past writings and bad views on any person, things they don't believe in anymore. If Jack doesn't believe in those views anymore, it would've been better to make a joke and brush past it. Instead, now more people are gonna seek out the article.🤷🤷

@@valentinegonsalves7322 I think Jack still does believe in what he wrote. The most that he has said against it was that he and his wife had some wild times and now they are settling down. Jack has been around long enough to know what a superchat is, there is no excuse for his behaviour. The “I thought you were trying to dredge shit up” excuse is pathetic. Thats what i thought. It was declared to him, that everything is read out loud. Period. Thats a sort of service that show offers to the listeners. He could have known that by informing himself before coming on the show. As a "man trainer" he should also train how to take blows and even low blows. This attack on the messenger is absolutly not what i expect from real men. To go straight for a girl in that way, "sincerly out of my heart" adding - and afterwards standing up and walking away is just weak. Even if he had declared the topic sacrosanct, this was not the reaction to it. All it showed is a sensitive point. If he really think that what he praised in that article is "manly" he should stand up for it. If he did a money job in writting it - admit it and go along with your life. If you remorse - say so, explain it as a mistake and that you learned from it. And go on with your life. That and his reaction when he and Tim discussed the topic of standing upright in the actual situation, that he bended for his adult kids that they can get their beloved sport they hope to make money in one day shows me everything i need to know about this man. He is not, what he pretends to be - a role model you can look up to. He is not the worst guy around - but clear as hell he shouldnt teach other men beside his family how to behave.

If her online persona had been one of abrasive confrontation, then I wouldn’t bat an eye at her being derided with hard language. @@sonitrok2499 I understand what you're saying and yes maybe Sydney could have jumped in and said "This was already discussed but thanks for the superchat", but that didn't happen. The main point is that someone whom calls himself an "Alpha Male" and makes people pay to listen to him, was unable to control his emotions and instead of deflecting again or saying something like, "I appreciate the question, thats not who I am anymore, I'd prefer to leave it in the past but thanks for the superr chat", he went off, raised his voice and swore multiple times at the host. To me, it doesn't matter if it was Sydney or Elijah he was speaking to, you don't disrespect someone like that and definitely not on their own show. When you're on a live show, things can happen and questions can come up. You can either deflect the question, answer it, flat out state "Thanks but I don't want to talk about that", or you act like a bitch and throw a tantrum.

He obviously holds an uncomfortable degree of shame, regret, and self-loathing for whatever it is in his past that unfortunately, and unbeknownst to you, came back to bite him in the ass (not sure if that qualifies as pun, but in case it does, it was not intentional - so relax, Jack). Had his own self-judgement been a little less intense, he could have played it cool, made a little joke and nobody would have thought twice. Instead, his own insecurity revealed to everybody that he's got a skeleton in his closet that he really doesn't want to get out. He only has himself and his own actions to blame because once the internet knows that you're hiding a skeleton, it's only a matter of time before someone picks the lock to that closet. He claims to coach men on how to be better men? A real man has control over his emotions and does not let anyone or anything stir an emotional reaction within him. That's 101 stuff. Perhaps he should find another line of work.

Well he did say: "Whatever people's perception is about that is 180 degrees wrong. And has nothing to with what people are thinking it to be today." It sounds a ton here like he is implying cuckholding is not what people preceive it to be. It sounds like he continues to pretend to think cuckholding is totally a masculine alpha thing to do. It's like he is telling himself it's totally okay to do what he has done and has promoted, but likely knows deep down it was fucked up. Perhaps he doesn't delve into it deeply when reflecting because he doesn't want to feel incredibly ashamed of himself. He just pretends he's totally okay with his past. So what we saw on this show was most definitely an outward projection of his inner self hatred for himself, no matter what he does to make it seem like he's totally okay with it. He took it out on a completely innocent person. In a more judging tone, it's pathetic he was this triggered by Sydney. Really shows how much of a man he is.

Exactly, and when you are a guest on a live and have that kind of stain on your past, expect people to bring it up.. did he not research You Are Here before coming on the show? They read every and all superchats 🤷‍♀️ seems he was quite silly for thinking he wouldn't get that question. Sydney read it and wanted him to respond. Classic toxic masculinity that makes an insecure male child yell "f u" at someone in his way because he is angry about something else. Guaranteed he yelled that at Sydney because she is female and he thought he could. Just saying.

Or he should just own up to it. "Hey, I wrote this back when I was a different person. I've changed and it is what it is." Now that he's being so weird about it, more people want to dig it all up. Best to just acknowledge past mistakes.

@@amandasutherland1613 Never thought I would hear a fan of the ultra conservative show "You Are Here" talk about toxic masculinity. Jack yelling at Sydney was rude and inappropriate but that other part is nonsense. I also think all 3 parties involved would agree toxic masculinity is not really a thing. Identity Politics are a threat to America and if you watch this show you should agree. Makes me think you are some leftie just messing with the red tribers. You people are the worst.

I think this is less about how much of a man John Goldman is but more about the sheer panic he experienced in the moment. That is KEY. That is proof and stone cold tell that the cuck article is true.
