When I talked to the doctor, she asked if we talk to him a lot and read books. It was my son's grandma who did that a lot. The doctor said to give my son a break. She was right. How they respond to certain social cues, reciprocate language in response to other people's conversations, make eye contact, self regulate and petition for their wants, needs and desires. Its a whole litmus of tests. Usually, they dont even test for autism until the age of 3. Even then the doctors will tell you that children's speech milestone's will vary from child to child and before they test for autism, they will test each childs hearing first. Malenka can hear. Malenka shows NO signs of difficulty in ANY of those factors i've mentioned and I've worked with special needs kids and adults for over 20 years. You are great parents and she’s a beautiful girl. I don’t believe she has autism and any learning disability. However, get her hearing check just to make sure that are problems with her hearing. If so, there is support out there for your daughter….she will be okay!! The programs for kids with various issues are amazing now. They literally help get to where the issue doesn’t exist any longer. Let me say this though: This is the time to help her to develop language so that she can speak; it how we all have learned how to talk some way or the other one. JUST MODEL/show her what you want her to do first WHILE SAYING WHAT YOUR DOING. then let her do what you did continuing to explain what she is doing to her..this is giving her language: Do this for everything that you and your husband do and for everything that she does: model and say what you’re modeling, 2. Let her practice what you’re modeling while saying what she is doing. Keep doing this for everything that you guys to in front of her and SAY what she is doing …to give her language!!! I love how you read to her. This will help too a lot. The key is to define everything to her that you guys are doing and she is doing to. Make her use her words not babble. If you give her water take for example, say mommy is giving you water, this is water water melana. When she puts her cup up to her mouth, tell that’s whT’s she’s doing, etc. JUST MODEL, MODEL, MODEL and say what you are doing to her and what she is doing to her. If she has a hearing challenge, this will explain why you have to model more than normal. If she can’t hear what you’re saying then she can’t process easily what you’re saying to develop language as she should be able to do so. It will work itself out…RELAX..kids to learn at their own pace!! But still talk to her more…model what you want her to while saying it, then let her do it while you say what she is doing. Say what she is doing and you and your husband are doing always..say it..this is talking to her!!! When you pick up a spoon, say it..mommy is picking up a spoon..if your food is on the spoon say food in on the spoon and I am getting ready too put it in your month or fed you ….this with it. DEFINE/SAY always what You’re doing or your husband is doing in front of her and say what she is doing away to her. It exhausting but this is how they develop language..it called “talking to them”!! I love your family. God Bless Sincerely- a teacher and learning specialist

She is perfect! She will talk when she is ready. I have a 2 year old and we speak Spanish and English in our house so he is mixing both languages and it's hard to understand him alot but it's fine. Babys develop at their own pace!

So you feed Malena before going to the restaurant, then at the restaurant she watches you eat and you think she will be sitting quietly while you eat - she probably wants to taste the food also -
@sweetestea2 ай бұрын
Raf and Iyah have ZERO compassion for that child. Even if they did feed her that day, HOW LONG was it before they arrived at the restaurant? She was excluded from the meal because they do not believe that she is worthy. 😐
@YousoChatty2 ай бұрын
@@sweetestea Now she's showing that she feeds the child in a high chair. She could've order simple finger food for the child. Traveling is exhausting and stressful at times especially now.Everything is unpredictable. People are getting can GH with outages flight cancellations delays imagine a toddler going through these scenarios 😬

She’s so precious and you guys are great parents to her! She’s doing perfectly fine. We all know that kids grow and learn at different paces. Seems like every single parent on KZbin gets picked on. Unfortunately, you have to have thick skin to keep sharing your family on here. Stay strong and ignore the rude ones. 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟

@@kristenchang2685 She didn't do this to address the issue.You cannot evaluate the toddler properly because the kid is in controlled environment. You can see they work hard to get her animated.Its difficult to get a accurate assessment in those types of videos.But there's something there though.

You are fantastic parents ❤️💕 such a blessing to be able to expose her to both her cultures and the world. I wasn’t as blessed as you, but I did teach my children of their culture and a little traveling before preschool. They really do absorb and learn so much at such a young age. I just love your little family and adore your baby girl. Many blessings to you all. Enjoy your travels. ❤️🙏🏽

As parents you do what’s best for your child. I raised 3 of my own and believe me it was different with each one. They are adults and have children of their own I don’t interfere with my children and how they raise their children. You both are good parents sweet baby girl is fine I wish I can just hug and kiss her. Don’t let people bring your spirits down.

This is the first time I see daddy playing with Malenka. And defending his daughter and their method of raising her. Constructive criticism is not a bad thing as long as it’s not coming out in a mean-spirited manner. You are a beautiful family and Malenka is gorgeous.

Malena is such a smart little girl! You are right, Raff and Iyah, every child develops at different stages in their lives. No two children are alike! I have seen Malena brought up so well by both of you. I see how well she interacts with you and your families, I see her so engaged with her books and toys, she is doing amazing! I am a mom of a child on the autism spectrum and I know how it would hurt if someone would pass some nasty comments on my child. Malena is brilliant and beautiful! Your right, Raff, the haters and their comments just are a reflection of themselves. Your baby is AMAZING!
