It's sad.
@hilderenshof24767 ай бұрын
No youre just mis informed. She has high anxiety and takes medication for that, she also struggled with pain as they stated in this video. Both of these things are best medicated with weed because other forms of medication have more serious side effects and can cause organ damage and hormonal imbalances if used for a longer period of time. Weed is in and on itself not addictive, there is nothing in there that makes it addictive. Only habit use and depending on it will make it addictive. She uses it to reduce her anxiety and help her eat, these are the reasons people get prescribed weed as a medicine. Its less invasive then actual medication. Weed is and stays the healthiest way to medicate those problems. I would rather have her use weed then be anxious the whole time because weed cannot be deadly and cannot send her into episodes.You cant die of weed and it doesnt cause any damage on organs or anything. Its literally one if the safest ways to medicate. Please educate yourself on a topic befire you make such a bold statement

There was a study done just at the end of last month by the American Heart Association that found a 25% increase in the liklihood of having a heart attack and a 42% increase in the liklihood of having a stroke in daily canabis users (whether smoking or ingesting). This study also controlled for other variables such as age, previously existing cardiovascular dosease, and if they also used tobacco products. As it becomes more widespread and legalized, more and more studies are able to be conducted and the more we know about the longer effects of its use.

@keekssss yes, but the difference is those prescriptions are monitored closely by the doctor. I am studying psychology and work in a psychiatric clinic. It is scary that the effects of cannabis are discussed so one-sidedly, thereby downplaying its risks. While there are certainly some positive effects, the negative ones must not be ignored. It is alarming to see how many people experience cannabis-induced psychosis. Furthermore, with every use, brain cells die, which is especially concerning for adolescents. Not to mention the damage to the lungs. I understand that Kennedy experiences the positive effects but that does not apply to everybody. Besides that Kennedy obviously cant see the damage that happens inside her body and brain.

Very sensible comment! What do you think about the way they talk about using zoloft "to take the edge off" and possibly increasing? Sounds dystopic to me. The explanation is also that they were crying to the doctor?!? So take SSRI every time you are sad because god forbid life isn't a party 24/7 and sometime there are negative periods?

Even if you only do a few days that's rewarding in itself and will give you a confidence boost that yor tried something! When you step back in listen to Claudia’s concern over TikTok it’s actually wild. No offense to her at all but basically saying kids lives will be ruined if they can’t film themselves sounds so ridiculous. Maybe those kids will become a productive member of society instead. “Influencer” is a made up term to boost egos of unproductive kids. Don’t get me wrong, they can be entertaining but not influential. Not knocking her, if my income was dependent on people staring at screens all day I would say the same but looking at it from the view of like 99% of society in the world it’s scary that deleting a social media app would ruin someone’s life like that.

Tik tok is 100% more genuine than Instagram. If it gets banned and everyone moves to Instagram that’s literally worse, I’d rather have the Chinese have my data than billionaires like Mark Zuckerberg

Because no one will stop watching short form content. It will be done on a different app so your whole point is ?? It’s about power who gets to spread the info the media will be biased towards the US rather than showing “people first content” like now aka people just speaking their truth. It spreads faster on tik tok, trends are made on tik tok now and US just wants that power back.

Ppl (not just kids) have made their entire careers off of that app. Their family’s livelihoods depend on them posting. It’s a much better job than working a massive corp that doesn’t care about you while you work your life away to make them rich. TikTok has changed ppls lives.

Claudia has done really well on tiktok and she’s able to make money that way. It’s also probably less time consuming and less effort for her. She’s able to reach out to more people on tiktok than KZbin especially because KZbin forces you to click on a video and be able to watch several minutes long of content. Yes her career is at a risk. Also i think the reason they are an “influencer”, is because they try target an online audience to get certain things by promoting a product or brand that they’re getting paid to promote by the brand. Also im honestly glad though that they are considering getting rid of tiktok but not even specifically for the security issue. I feel like it is very detrimental to society and to people in general. It is so addicting and i think people don’t talk enough about the addiction of social media because it’s relatively new and we don’t know the long term effects of social media.

I’m a weed smoker myself, daily now for around 5 years. I have a great full time job that I love and that pays well, I show up to an office 3 times a week. I’m a runner and I am relatively fit and I hardly drink alcohol and I have a fully functioning life. I have ADHD and chose to be unmedicated, weed has helped me manage my ADHD and helps with anxiety and has made me a happier, more relaxed person. I think weed is different for everyone, and people shouldn’t be so hard on Kennedy for exploring it and enjoying it for her own life and her own needs. Everyone has some sort of vice, and while weed can be dangerous with long term effects on the lungs & the brain it really is the lesser evil when it comes to drugs. Each to their own 🤷🏻♀️ she’s also so young and will eventually find more of a balance like a lot of people do. Things aren’t black & white in life.

Same!! 💗 The comments are so negative. I’m able to live a healthy life, working in a successful career, exercising, socializing, AND smoking. I’ve tried prescription drugs also. I see less side effects with weed than any antidepressants.

its genuinely sad to see kennedy become yet another youtuber that makes every big life purchase thanks to her followers and subscribers and then becomes ungrateful. you would not move to nyc or have this podcast or house or couch or microphone if it wasn’t for your supporters and ofc now that she has enough money to live a lavish life the content is getting less creative, repetitive or in her case there is no content anymore LOL youtubers loooove to say how much time goes into filming and editing and their content and consider it a full job, so imagine if a doctor got money from his job and then just slowly started to not give a fuck and give wrong medication, take less people in, walks away mid surgery….. like what the fuck. you do owe people content because they are the ones making you your money and the sole reason you can pay your bills

i try not to judge anyone who smokes weed because i grew up with pot heads and a most of my siblings smoke a ton of weed. it is harmful. my mother just had a stroke and the doctors had to acknowledge her weed smoking that contributed to her stroke (she had other risk factors) but it still played a role. what gets me is when pot heads are all like "its so much better for you!!! drinking is so so bad and there is nothing wrong with weed at all!!" the judgement from them is out of this world because when im sober and with people who are high constantly you can tell the difference. most people i know who are chronic pot heads have no ways of dealing with any type of stressful situation whatsoever. they lash out and the anxiety when they can't get high is crazy. pot heads try to justify the addiction because "they give it to cancer patients!!" yeah to increase appetite and reduce pain and yeah the negative cognitive side effects are so noticeable, its insane!!! i feel like pot heads judge drinkers because their vice is "healthier" but in reality it's not!!!!!!! thanks for coming to my ted talk.

There are plenty of pharmaceuticals that are helping whilst declining your health at the same time. Acutane, Xanax, birth control pills etc. Every year we learn about the long term effects of certain medication and some are getting banned as more research is done. So the fact that something is a medication doesn’t necessarily means it’s not harmful we just may not know that yet.

medical cannabis is also the same as rec cannabis, it's just a price discount. but yes, it is different from street cannabis (although, sometimes street cannabis can be safer if you know the grower). lots of big grows for med and rec can use weird sprays on the cannabis which can cause cancer.

There's always going to be those miserable people that think they are entitled to make nasty comments. They simply just have issues with themselves. Someone that's unhappy in their own life will always try to bring other people down. Best thing to do is just ignore them because it's not worth the energy getting upset with them. It is after all just their opinion because clearly they have nothing better to do.
