You can always start small by striking up conversations with random people in public like someone working at coffee shop or store.Take a genuine interest in the person. Also, coworkers or classmates if you're in school. A compliment always goes a long way to open someone up. People tend to respond warmly to it but if not don't let it dissuade you. It helps to stretch social muscle. If you're shy or nervous thats totally normally. I find we over analyze people's thoughts about how they're perceiving us. People tend to be stuck in their own world and we criticize ourselves more harshly on our interactions. So don't be scared to look a certain way and be yourself. Also, look into events or clubs that you find interesting around you. Try new hobbies. It could help meeting people that have your same interests

Kennedy has a very similar trajectory as I’ve had. Started out shy and introverted, then as I entered my 20’s I really blossomed into a more extroverted person, and now I’m my mid-30’s I’ve swung back to the extreme other end of the spectrum and crave solitude 😂 So if you see this Kennedy, which you probably won’t, enjoy the adventure of the 20’s and early 30’s. But don’t be surprised if you’re suddenly burnt out at 33 and want nothing to do with anyone 💀🙃

Can't believe I sat through a whole better help ad section just cause Kennedy was in frame. Jokes aside, isolating yourself for years and then transitioning to wanting to be more social and outgoing and desiring a complete change of scenery and environment is so relatable. It feels really good to feel brave and ready and calm about allowing more people and experiences to come into your life.
