@@dejibimbola Greetings Brethren & I Sistren, I am a brother from the African Diaspora, recently stumbled on this music video. The first thing that drew me to it was the artist name Adekunle ( The Crown Returns) is also the name given to me by the Senior Chief in our home Village. Please understand, I have never been to Nigeria “yet” GOD’s Will, I would be there ASAP! My Grandfather, was taken during the Slave Trade he was bound for Brazil but was routed to America where he passed away. My Mother God Bless her, spent much of her adult life seeking our family. I have hoped to write a book about this experience to honor her quest, Prayers for that day to come. I wish you could understand what it is like to have some knowledge of who we are torn and scattered from our people. We are so stripped of everything to do with our TRUE Culture. People think living in the States is ALL THAT, not so when you know and live the TRUTH about it. And the LORD will bring you back in ships to Egypt, a journey that I promised that you should never make again; and there you shall offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but there will be no buyer." Duet 28-68 We wanna come home…. O Adekunle Aloya

This is one of the best African song have heard in recent times. Life is an unpredictable journey that we all embark on with the hope of making it. Very creative video that played with all elements of life! When it’s your time for greatness, God will destroy your enemies and will reposition you to the direction of your fortune(IRE). At the end of it all, Life is vanity & God is the greatest!

Yesssss Adekunle!!! Thank you for substantive music with a message and a vision. The visual appeal and lyrics are soooo impactful; the Yoruba underpinnings are iust magic😇 Thank you for being confident about making music that's indeed worthwhile with splashes of culture that remains unadulterated; taking the good parts that are worth marveling at and celebrating👏👏👏

Wow! I see what he's doing here. He has carefully curated the background vocals to sound very traditional and unrefined. Exactly like an Ogunde song's backing vocals. He's basically breaking all the rules and creating magic. This is heaven. A lot of work and research must have gone into making this music.
