Even after the way Amartey took them apart tonight, I'm still more bullish on Adelaide's key defender stocks than many. Murray and Butts are up around being finals competitive, while Keane and Worrell are still error prone and relatively inexperienced but improving rapidly. Curtain naturally plays more like a flanker but could develop into a mobile key defender and even Borlase is handy for a fourth year rookie liisted player. We could use another skillfull tall key defender, but I am more concerned about Adelaide's current midfield talent depth and especially forward firepower.

Crows can not be offering big dollars to a 30 year old with an injury history like Yeo has. Need more recruits like Dawson, mid 20's, proven AFL quality, want to come to the club and not asking a Kings ransom.

The only one I can see them getting is Petty and that's only if Himmelberg leaves or Tex retires. Murray might be moved down forward because I think Petty works better down back

I'm still not convinced Yeo getting a three year spot in Adelaide's squad and big bucks is good value for the Crows given where they are presently. He has been injury prone and unable to bolster WC's competitiveness the last few years. The Crows need to build and develop a side for two to three years ahead. Daniel would be worth a spot if cheap and wanting to move. The other three would each be good additions but costly. Maybe worth it if they had more than a financial buy in.
