Incredible that 38,000+ people can be so quiet. Amazingly respectful. The boys were so brave to even front up tonight. I hope they know how much everyone respects and admires the heart and spirit they showed tonight. We fly as one and we grieve as one.

I haven't said much since the tragedy, but I have to say this now. I am so proud of each and every one of the players. Tonight they showed more courage, strength and heart than anyone could imagine. I love this club.

One word comes to mind BRAVERY. These boys showed immense bravery and love for their fallen coach last night. To be able to even play a game of football after such an immense loss to the club and the football world shows the strength and dedication of the Adelaide football club. There were no winners or losers last night just remembrance and love for Phil Walsh. Well done boys, Phil Walsh would be proud. #WEFLYASONE

Well done guys, this is the sort of stuff, that builds on the bonds of a team, and thanks to the crowd for showing their support, it was a tough game for the crows not only psychically, but also emotionally the boys did very well.

Phil Walsh rest in peace. Your hard work and dedication to our great game will live forever. Honest hard work and love for your craft was inspiring to everyone who watched you at work. Your high level intellect and moral philosophy was a breath of fresh air in an industry full of stereotypes. It was like watching a paint brush on a canvas, football was his art form and he was the artist. Forever be remembered. RIP Phil Walsh

I think that the best way for the club to deal with this tragedy was to come out and do what Phil Walsh dedicated his life to. It would have made him proud regardless of the result. I stand as a proud supporter of this club and hope the players can recover emotionally. #weflyasone

I can't believe this occurred, as the news was heard the first thing I woke up on the day of his death. Devastating to say the least. R.I.P Phil Walsh and enjoy your time in heaven. Nobody is thrashed. More of a memorial service than a game. Hopefully the Crows would play the same impressive brand of footy when they have moved on from this tragedy.

Been six years now the boys have gone through so much but still it hurts Walsh was one of the best coaches in the building of the 2017 and although we didn’t win that year was a great achievement and showed our fans belief that we can get to the big stage and win finals but that grand final just wasn’t our day but I promise one day could be 2 years, could be 20 years but that day will come and the boys will get their hard earned glory for the past and present players.
