Adele has done it again, y'all. Another few songs for pretty much every playlist for the next few months lol. What do y'all think, have you listened yet? Have you been a fan of Adele for a long time or is this gonna be something new for you? I'm curious to know!
I grew up listening to Adele, probably too young when I first started but it did give me an interesting perspective on her music. She is an artist that is so elusive when shes not making music, yet soooooo outgoing and personable when she releases something. She is one of those artists that when people ask you at a dinner or something, "If you had to choose one musician to have dinner with, who would it be?"... I think Adele is such a solid answer for that. I am in awe of the way she has moved throughout her career, and I wonder also if she will ever write an autobiography. Have y'all thought about that yet? Like, the artists who are younger now that we grew up on are one day going to be the artists who are writing biographies like some of the greats we know, right? Does that make sense? LMAO lemme shut up

i giggled when you cried like you did from my little love BECAUUUSEE i had the exact same reaction... i too am not a mom (lol) but it was just so incredibly raw and honestly a topic that we don't always see in music aka motherhood? im also living abroad right now so i personally miss my mom so assuming thats y it hit me so hard. anyway love ur reactions and ugh what an excellent album!!!!

I’m a crybaby, and I love music deep 😭😭 with Adele especially, she knows just how to pull on your feelings. I think you make a great point about her & motherhood as a theme in music. If you haven’t yet, watch the Apple interview she did about this album! She talks a ton about why she makes music for her specific audience and hasn’t pandered to streaming, she makes music for the music and for the people who listen to it. That’s what makes it special. Nice one. I think I must quibble with the suggestion that there is anything 'little' about Adele's British accent! It's about a mile wide! But that aside, great review, and a perceptive explanation of Adele's unique appeal and artistry.
