@adele I wanted to let you (and everyone) know that the canvas panels can ALWAYS be found at ROSS Dress For Less, if you have one near you. I always buy mine there. You’re such an inspiration! So glad I found you yesterday! I appreciate you keeping things simple and showing all the steps. ❤

Thank you Adele, for your wonderful art, and all of your generous sharing. Question - since wax paper is made to resist anything sticking to it, how durable is paint on wax paper? All best wishes to you.
@AdeleSypesteynStudio Жыл бұрын
Hi Ena! It can be tricky. I would say it's a good idea to get some wax paper and just experiment with how the paint interacts. Then you'll get a better idea of how you may want to use it.

Question about using palette paper. I tried it once as a collage element and paint didn't stick to it as well as I would have liked. Which is fine for in a practice journal but would you use it on a piece you were planning to display? Would the paint eventually peel away from the palette paper? Just curious, thanks!

Hi Adele, I use parchment paper, will that adhere well to use in my artwork?

It might. All you can do is test it out. Good luck.

What medium are you using to adhere them to the substrate? Do you use that medium on top also? Love this idea a lot!

I love making collage papers. Some of them are finished pieces as they are. I even collage my old paper towels for the textures. Very little ends up in the trash can. I always have a couple boards that are strictly for junk thrown on at random. (:

I know you're teaching is worth it, but I sure did like that $10 a month instruction. And it seems like you hardly even make any you tube videos any more. It seems like a person has to already be wealthy to want to be an artist. I would not be able to afford that even if I worked full-time. I miss seeing the other artists paintings and getting to interact with them about their paintings and my own paintings.
@pattifrombk6772 Жыл бұрын
Sadly, the art business has changed. I miss the old days of endless free KZbin videos, but I can't argue with these artists wanting to fund their retirement accounts so they're not eating canned beans in their old age.
@rhonnachurch6929 Жыл бұрын
@@pattifrombk6772 yes, I know it. Like I said, I know that her knowledge and talent is worth the price..... Just disappointed because I had a subscription for a long time and I miss the other artists that I could get feedback from, as well as her information. Story of my life. The art business is really changing, 8 think the AI learning will change it in ways that people had not planned for.

I join the Adele academy in January and it’s totally worth the price. Not everything can be for free. You encourage artist you love. When you buy a book, you don’t’ think about that. But it’s the same thing. You buy the work of a writer who makes you feel alive for 500 hundred pages. It’s the same thing with artist. I follow other artist and Adele’s price are very low compare to them. I’m not paid and I don’t receive anything to tell you this. That’s a true honest point of view ❤ I’m an artist, and I wish one day, a community will support my work and my dreams. It’s not only money an business. It’s investing in someone. A real person (and not a big company).
