The system will arm to Stay if no exit door with a door contact is opened. You will need a door contact for it to arm to Away.

The “auto-stay arming” feature is enabled by default on Vista panels in an effort to reduce false alarms being triggered due to interior motion detectors being enabled unintentionally. You can always disable this feature by setting the *84 programming question to 0.

ARe those 'panels' 32 zones?? and how many nac zones do they have for the fire portion? should you just use a fire only keypad and panel??

8 programmable hardwire zones, expandable up to 40. One NAC by default, can be expanded to three. No zone is a fire zone by default, but the manual recommends that the first zone be used for two-wire smoke detectors only.

@@mpouliot6092 It is usually a module, but some keypads have an extra set of hardwired zones that you can use. Wireless zones are also optional, but you can only have one wireless expansion module on the system if you so wish.
