That's cool! I was really interested to see in the description that "New Safewatch Pro 3000 tests are coming soon!" I'm really hyped to see those videos again!

Until I saw the Att logo at the bottom. I thought that was a thermostat. It looks similar to our touchscreen thermostat in the living room.

I have a touchscreen keypad too. 6280. I absolutely love it. However, I would recommend keeping a normal keypad around, 6160 for emergency usage. Touchscreen keypads are a computer. So, they can fail, and they do fail. It's pretty rare, considering how many touchscreen keypads that are in use today. And, always have a dedicated keypad that pulls strictly from the panel if you have keypads that pull from a power supply. When using a power supply for a keypad, you have to run a wire from the negative terminal of the power supply to the 4th terminal of the vista 20p, otherwise the keypad will display an "open ckt" error. This wire clamps the negative voltage to zero in order to prevent "open ckt" errors from happening. This is called a zeroing cable. Follow all diagrams carefully. Finally, I have to recommend a proximity tag reader keypad 6160PX. It is an awesome keypad. However, it is very hard to describe the 6160PX keypad in a text so you will have to try it for yourself. But you show a proximity tag to the keypad and it disarms it without using a code. But it is very difficult to describe this sort of keypad here and I don't want to be spoiler so you will have to try it for yourself. Follow all directions and diagrams carefully and don't touch anything in the *88 field in programming as that will permanently lock you out of programming mode and put your panel in the toilet. Be careful! Also, you can't be told this often enough, as always, never ever touch pull stations, keypads, and other alarm equipment in public and never play with alarm equipment that is not in your collection, unless you have permission or unless it is an actual emergency. I know this sounds obvious but unfortunately, it does happen.

Can confirm they definitely fail; I have one that is currently bricked. When it starts up it freezes at "Starting Home Page Timer..." and shows a white square in the corner. Worked great for a while before developing this problem.
