I am the guy who ran the Khorne Daemons list. I've always wondered how good you were at describing lists while you were never present for the games. But you nailed it. In my final round double rendmaster Buff was placed on Skarbrand to kill Angron in 2 Hits. Flat 8 damage is no joke.

Vehicle heavy sisters lists seem the way to go right now. The Michigan GT list had 2 castigators, 2 exorcists, and 2 rhinos. Plus his use of arcos in that list was fun to watch.

@@hootie1883 No they are not. Most successful lists are a good balance between battle tanks, tansports, walkers and infantry

Ben Jurek DID go undefeated with Aeldari at the event, but placed substantially lower... for some reason. 🤨 In conclusion; I have no idea how USO placings work. 😅 CORRECTION 2: Shortly after the event concluded, Matt Schwarzer donated his final win with Black Templars was awarded to his opponent due to a rules mistake made during the game, so he was technically X-1 (although it was not known at time of recording).

Ben Jurek lost in the shadow round that decided who would be top bracket. So officially he's undefeated. But got sorted into the lower bracket. He made a FB post about it. :)

Uthar goes into warriors. If you give your Hearthkyn 2 Hearthkyn Melee Weapons & the champ a third one, you have a 6 man squad with 3x A2/S5/-2/2 and Uthar who is no slouch in melee. Make him the warlord and you can abuse Newfound Nemesis to hand out double tokens easily. He could also go solo, if need be. But that's not necessary. Danny Porter came up with the idea and it really took hold of the Votann Discord. Instead of semi good guns, you get small squads with a surprising amount of punching power. Uthar complements that very well. Doesn't die, hits fairly hard. Can go solo if need be. Tanks units with low attacks on his own. He's much better at second glance than you would think.

That orks list you covered is really interesting. Brad Chester and I were both chatting about our lists at Gem City (I was the 4-1 orks lost to melee csm round 1 because I went second). Ours are very similar but wildly different compared to this. 5 trucks to me feels like too many points

I have repeatedly outplayed Necrons, Aeldari, Nids and Custodes playing Dark Angels (Unforgiven TF)...yet have ALWAYS been beat by mechanicus; who are apparently struggling...go figure.

I feel you 🤣 A lot of times the lesser-played factions have weird tricks and off-meta playstyles that can be silver bullets randomly. That and good play can overcome the weaknesses of a faction to some extent.

As a sisters players with a certain idea of the army, the sucess of AS with vehicle heavy armies is not something I really like. I fear that GW will look at AS and say "well, they are winning, so let's not change anything". I hate the 3 castigators + 3 exorcist build. If I wanted to play vehicles, I would play Tau (which I do). For me it doesn't matter whether sisters are good or not, as long as they have a flavour to playing them. At the moment, it feels like what Imperial Guard should be, but with a bit more melee. I want my damage to come from my "people" units, like my retributors. The winning list presented here is not as heavy on vehicles, so that gives me the slightlest of hope that there might be a way to actually do something with the current list in the current meta, but I really hope that GW buffs the correct units this time, because I really miss the feeling of my retributors being a menace once they got close enough.

I think the retributors are in dire need of the Anti-vehicle 4+ and Anti-monster 4+ keywords. I agree that sisters should have more options than vehicle heavy to be competitive.

Sororitas aren't vehicle heavy, they have a decent tank, walker, infantry, character balance right now. I can't remember a GT winning list with 6 of the battle tanks. 4 was the highest if I remember correctly and the largest win had 0 Exorcists. You literally have Arco-Flagellants and Penitent Engines as cannon fodder, Sisters of Battle and church tanks in the backline and angels decending from the skies. If this is not what you expected from the Adepta Sororitas that's a little bit of a head scratcher. They are as fluffy as ever before

@@Krachbumm-Ente 6 battle tanks, and then 2 immolators, because that is the only way to make retributors anywhere worth a fraction of their cost, AND the only way to split a sisters unit. Already 8 vehicles. Then you have a bunch of tiny units to score secondaries, a token unit to capture primaries, and all your damage come from the 6 battle tanks. Even seraphims are used mostly for scoring secondaries, and not as a flanking unit. And I am yet to see zephrims. But why would you take them, when Rose is no longer an option and none of the melee units have been updated to reflect that? The winning list in Tampa is an exception. Just look at the rest of them. You can consistently win games with sisters, because at the end of the day, one wins games scoring points. But the path to win is not what I envision for my sisters army.

They did. The oath rule is the same for every marine with the rule. This past weekend Wouk’s have been using the index not the codex as it only officially came out Saturday, it’s not tournament legal yet . Most events don’t allow new releases for a few weeks to allow,everyone to read up. Some don’t allow a new book until gw do the first faq

GK deff worst in 40k now I think. The only army that simply can't do certain things. Great vs some, huge disadvantage vs others. GK need some anti tank/anti monster. The only army in 40k without either in a infantry-portable form.
