ehn, they're not that weak in this current edition, they're just rather middling, about C or B-tier, compared to the Custodes' obvious A-tier. Both armies didn't have what they needed for their full potential anyway, orks needed more ap and custodes would have been better with some sisters of silence flamer squads, perhaps.

the shokka was always great... but it was best back in the days of the dark millenium expansion... yeah, there were tables to roll from, but the effects could be amazing... same with a lot of old ork-tek. (smasha gun, lifta droppa, traktor cannon etc, they were all fun.)
