I love the Mechanicus for being one of the few people in the Imperium that can tell the likes of the Inquisition and Ecclisarcy to screw off and they can’t do much about it since not only does Admech build most of there stuff, there also the ones that know how to operate them. Try to conduct exteminatus on mars when the only people who know how to operate and fire the super laser jump ship.

One thing though the Omnissiah is the avatar of the machine god. For example moon knight is the avatar and the the god being Khonshu. So the Omnissiah is the avatar, currently who is the god emperor. The machine god is a separate diety.
