@@nutbug445 Chaos and base genestealers cultist should be tier 2 - usually they present nothing special (Imperial guard but with low to nothing discipline, shit weapons and zero tactics) Blood Pack for example already could be Chaos tier 3 / Eldar wraithguard is more analogy to space marine terminators (but better). Wraithlord is analogy of dreadnought Phoenix Lords are more on Primarch lvl (considering their immortality)

The Silent King deserves to be on the same tier as the Emperor of Mankind. He’s said to be the most powerful Necron when during the War in Heaven there’s Necron Phaerons that shatters entire planet with a single blow and killed Eldar gods in 1v1. It was also implied that he personally shattered a fully powered C’tan. Also the Tyranid Hive Mind definitely belongs in the god tier, it was stated by an Eldar when she saw the Tyranid Hive Mind, she was so overwhelmed by its power, she wholeheartedly believed that it would’ve murked Slaanesh.

The Silent King to 9th and Hive Mind to 10th or 10.5 even. Silent King is imo real close to being Big E OP and Hive Mind for obvious reasons I guess. It can wipe out the whole setting 😂 Also I think this list could use a 8.5 tier to single out some stronger Primarchs/Phaerons, Greater Deamons with largest influence and/or at the height of their power and of course Malcador, who probably could fuck up anyone in the 8th tier in a 1v1.

I get it's 40k so obviously elfhate switch stays on but You undersold Solitaires and Phoenix Lords here. I'd say a solitaire slaughtering custodes like children and Maugan Ra destroying hive fleets by himself deserve demi god tier at least. I also don't see why Aeldari gods would be a level below Gork and Mork or The Big E, certainly not in their full powered state as we know Khaine battled Slaanesh to a standstill while weakened severily by losing 90% of population that fueled his power. I'd say it's decent scaling but i'd put only the Chaos Gods in the current setting as lvl 10 since they can't really be destroyed, they're embodiments of eternal, primal desires of the Universe even if they can be temporarily matched in the materium and beyond (maybe by EoM, Aeldari before their fall or posibly by C'tan).

That's the thing about Tier levels, they're themselves on a lets say spectrum. There are weaker units and more powerful units but can still be in the same tier.

Phoenix lords are at a level between the Chapter master and Primarchs [If i remember correctly]

Phoenix lords are closer to primarchs than they are to the average chapter master. To give perspective there are 1000 chapter masters and many of them unnamed. In contrast there's only 9 Phoenix Lords all of whom are named. I think AT MINIMUM you could make an argument that the PLs are around the tier of the STRONGEST chapter masters like Dante, Logan Grimnar, Asterion Moloc if not right above those guys.

There is alot wrong here for example Costudes as a whole above chapter masters and champions of chaos is just wrong Even a named costudes who’s name i frogot stated he was not sure if he could kill moloc And Azrael who is high end chapter master was able to fight kharn who is a equal to abadon who one shot a costudes Even if you said Azrael is above most chapter masters his not one shotting them like abadon with the nameless costudes Also having swarmlord above chapter masters is insane because dantes and calgar have killed one

I think he means average vs average not the best of 'x' will defeat these guys yk. Like for example an average Custodian can probably take down the average Chapter Master but there are some exceptions such as Shield Captain Valerian being uncertain whether or not he can take down Asterion Moloc who are both named characters, and therefore above average Custodians and Chapter Masters respectively. In addition Swarm lords are genuinely insane, you need some serious firepower and a shit ton of elite troops to take them down, they dwarf space marines, Dante only killed the Swarm Lord because he had a unique pattern of a pistol and Calgar was barely able to survive by sacrificing his entire Honor Guard.

Custodes are not at the level of a greater demon. Nor they can defeat a whole squad of marines at once. 3 marines defeat a Lord Skorpeth lord. Stop the Custodes simping. As for Chaos equivalent probably a Chosen Champion == Normal Custodes.

lol 40k have nonsense power scaling unlike sci-fi. Too much plot armor and ass pull like warp/magic. Proper power scale are consistent. Heres my list by using Kardashev scale of energy generation and consuption. Top tier> Trans dimensional being> C'tan and Old One but since Old One already extinct only C'tan deserve this spot. Second tier> their primary creation> Able to move galaxies without problem can build artefact of infinite power>Necron/Tyranid/Eldar/Korks Third tier> Downgraded second tier>Ork/Exodite Fourth Tier> Newcomer> They have yet have the ability to easily move to other galaxy or produce artefact of infinite power>Tau/Votann/DAoT Humanity Fift tier> Downgraded Newcomer>Imperium Not going to put chaos gods here because magic are ass pulls. The reason why Imperium can punch above its tier is that they can use powers that the rest cant like plot armor.
