Don't understand why these guys weren't among the rock giants of that era. They were certainly one of the best Canadian groups of the 70s and 80s. Other underappreciated canucks: Triumph, Max Webster, Streetheart, The Guess Who, FM, Lisa Dalbello, Rough Trade...The list goes on and on..

Hold on to your hat Harri. 🎩🎩 Such a great groovy tune from the 1979 album, "First Glance", this was the biggest hit on the album. From the first guitar lick, you are hooked. With 3 amazing guitar soloists, each performing a grade above excellence, joined by the rocking drums, then Myles Goodwyn's vocals that are so powerful and distinctive, this is still just a party waiting to happen. Great reaction Handsome Harri ❤❤ So happy you loved it. Thanks Louie for more Canadiana. 🇨🇦🇨🇦👏👏 Cheers from Canada ❤❤🇨🇦🇨🇦

Now you should watch Toque’s version. Four professional Canadian musicians who decided to 😢do Canadian covers of all the bands they grew up idolizing. Lead singer Todd, bass Brent, play for Slash, Cory, guitar, plays for Shania Twain, and Shane, drums plays in Japan. All the bands they have covered fully support what they are doing. They are amazing!!!

I moved over from the UK with my parents in 1980 when I was 15. One of the first things I did was tune into the local rock radio station and I heard April Wine for the first time. Blew my doors off. The next thing I did was go out and buy two albums with my saved up spending money. Over the years I got to see them in concert four times and was lucky enough to communicate briefly online with Myles Goodwin shortly before he passed away. RIP. Oddly enough they were kind of looked at as a glorified bar band. They were so much more than that. Myles played so lyrically, a great songwriter and a wonderful singer. It's not often to get all that in one package, I never understood why they didn't achieve more success. Practically unheard of in the States. We are so proud of this Band! 🇨🇦
