No auto-tune, no gimmicks, no secrets, just outstanding talent. Patsy was so good at what she did. Because she was country, during her time, people then knew how good she was. She became the standard for women's country music. Excellent review. Thank you.

Blessings on you, Harri. . .Old Man, here - this was the A.M. sound of my car radio. Patsy had a voice that only comes around a few times in any era - and the band members and back-ups just stood up and did it LIVE - NO AutoTune, NO pitch correction, primitive mics and electronics that had vacuum-tubes. . .and it was GREAT. Timeless sound for those who understand what they are hearing. THANKS for keeping the great ones ALIVE FOREVER. 🙏🏻👊🫶🏿

"I Fall to Pieces" was Patsy's first single after she signed directly with Decca Records. Her previous recordings were with 4-Star Records with a licensing agreement with Coral/Decca Records. The piano on "I Fall to Pieces" was played by session musician Hargus "Pig" Robbins. Subsequent recordings had Floyd Cramer on piano. Cramer's signature slip note style of playing is what stands out on songs such as "Crazy", "She's Got You", and "Sweet Dreams".

I continued following her career and she just was so talented. I introduced my children and my Granddaughter to Patsy Cline's music. My all time favorite songs from Ms. Cline is "Crazy & I fall to pieces." She will forever remain in our hearts.
