This song is mostly only heard in church services and at Christmas time. During Christmas season oftentimes it's heard on the radio or you might play it on a CD or something but it's beautiful song always loved it certainly one of the classics and I don't know that anybody does it better than andreea Bocelli so you're getting a treat here and it appears to me as though you're quite enjoying it so enjoy.

Pavarotti sang the Italian version, while Bocelli sang in Latin- You should also listen to "Follow me" sung with his son Matteo. There is also the Ave Maria sung by "Il Volo" which is very beautiful. "Il Volo" are three young Italian tenors well known in the world. Thanks for the nice reactions. 😘

How about giving the women opera singers a little love with this song. Jackie Evancho became famous a few years ago as a 10 year old opera singer with the voice of an angel and sounded like an adult at 10. She has a voice that makes people cry with joy, and she performed a great live version of this song as a teen that is amazing. Literally one of the most beautiful voices ever.

I've seen Jackie Evancho in Las Vegas. I've also seen Andrea Bocelli for a Christmas show at the MGM. When we saw Jackie she was about 12 if I'm not mistaken, it was summertime in Vegas . She does have the voice of an angel. Andrea Bocelli has the voice that I imagine God has. Jackie looks just like my daughter in law so that makes her even more special to us. One of the things I remember is that there were a few men who followed Jackie around the country when she'd go on tour. They were talking in line and we were eavesdropping, I was so glad that her father was ALWAYS with her, standing in the wings, because we got some really disturbing vibes off a couple of those men. They were even staying at the same hotel as her and her father. Ugh.

The place where he´s singing is the Arena of Verona, an old Roman amphitheater(yep, still solidly in place), and it has a wonderful acoustic. They play opera every summer during an art festival (not during the pandemic, of course).

I've seen Andrea Bocelli sing in Las Vegas for a Christmas show. I cried for must of his show. I think his voice is what I imagine God's voice to sound like. The fact that he's blind and a lawyer and so amazingly talented just gives me so much admiration for him. I'm a Catholic and this is the Ave Maria aka Hail Mary. I think Bocelli is the best tenor opera singer of all time.

Andrea Bocelli is one of my absolute favorites but I enjoy almost all artists. I will be lucky enough to see Mr. Bocelli live in Indianapolis on December 7th and am so looking forward to it. Check out the Gounod version of Ave Maria that Andre Bocelli sings. This version was composed by Schubert. Bocelli also sings an awesome version of Canto Della Terra. Check out the version where he signs it live for Elizabeth Taylor. Both of these songs are amazing actually.
