Thank you very much, you have pointed me in the direction of a game that feels both fresh with new concepts and classic with tight gameplay and a somewhat nostalgic feel. I only wish there were more content sooner as I am blazing through it at a nice pace. This game fits me like a glove and I only wish for more monsters, bosses, spells, rooms and even textures be added to keep this going even after I do eventually unlock everything. If not I will just have to reset and do it all over again.

Pilli Or play endless mode and see how OP you can get... only for the battles to get so ridiculous that your framerate will hate you. ;D I've sent eMails to the devs a couple times now asking them to add more customization options to help keep the game feeling more controllable, but we'll see where that goes.

***** You're a real star for that. I want to beat the game on all modes before I do endless though, but I might do it after I have finished half the characters on normal. I might have to shoot them an a message myself once I draw closer to clearing everything. Also given what the studio made before this game, this seems like a totally fresh direction for them and I hope they can keep it up.

Reminds me of "Heretic" for DOS.

The texture work (Romero involved possibly??) and overall art design still remains top notch for a game from 1994. I hate how so many people say it's just "a reskinned doom clone", it's much more than that.

Super impressive graphics for a DOS game.

+Cvija Firer Well, it clearly took inspiration from old DOS games like Doom at least. Heck, even the IDDQD cheat code works! ...sorta... ^_^;

Played this game for a while, completed, unlocked most characters but ultimately started to hate it after realizing how much of it is repetition of the same motions and how much my progress is affected by RNG. And there are plenty of smaller pieces of bad, lazy game design in there. Also, level design or rather lack of it. As you play, you realize that you are just clearing the same rooms over and over and over again.

Interesting concept for a Roguelike type of game.

Rougelite FPS, seems pretty fun.

How much disk space this requires? Looks interesting and sounds addictive as hell, but one thing I hate in newer games is how unoptimized most of them are, requiring so much resources for a glorified Doom mod for example

+FeelingShred This game may be inspired by games like Doom but rest assured, it stands extremely well on its own. But to answer the question: 1.1 GB, which given the sheer number of animations, rooms and high-res textures, definitely sounds about right. :B

Oh that's within the acceptable range for my limited disk space. Another problem is free time though xDDD Thanks dude, excellent week for you
