I was more under the impression that Matt respects your capableness, self-sufficiency, and individuality. I notice that he helps when asked rather than assume you need or want help, in that way not depriving you of the satisfaction of knowing your own worth and abilities. I think you've got a real gem, there. Ultimately, all that really matters is that your relationship works for you and Matt. No one else's opinion matters. I took ritalin for ADHD when I was younger as well. I got lucky and found a job that lets me handle 5 to 15 projects at once so I can bounce around and not get to board. Embrace ADHD it is from our hunter gather days, we are the hunters, we notice everything and react. It is a huge advantage.

It seems to help a little, although my dose is very small still. I hope I can live with it in peace one day

a forest note..no need to rake a forest unless you are going to develop the area.. the duff is what protects the area for habitat and feeds the soil and keeps it moist... Soil in nature is never bare... about the moss .. the buttermilk idea works best on brick or stone in a shaded moist area.. that is what it likes .. to get on soil it needs to be pretty moist location and can transplant or buy spores...

Build a compost pile , then when you are raking random parts of the forest you can claim it is to refill the compost bin. Mine is about 12 foot across, mostly roundish in shape, made of post and box wire. I fill it to over flowing each fall (about 5 foot deep), and it all rots before the next fall.

Hello Hannah. I was so happy to see your post today and wanted to say thank you for letting us into your home. You are ray of light and truly an inspiration as you’ve helped me slowly get back into the swing of things so to speak. My Daughter (my only child) passed away and it’s been very hard to be productive these days. The Christmas tree is still up ( I did take off the decorations though!). I thought about decorating it for the different holidays. It’s now bare and looks a massive plant in my living room. It actually looks pretty and I don’t have to worry about watering it so that’s a good thing. Then there’s the bag of potting soil that’s been sitting on the patio for a couple of months now waiting for me to repot my plants. After watching you plant the seeds and make your moss concoction I now feel motivated so I’ll repotting tomorrow. My plants will be so very happy for that. I must say you’ve done a beautiful job with your cottages and property. I also really liked what you decorated your van. I bought a 19ft Motorhome a couple of years ago and have been wanting to do a DIY makeover on it. I got some great ideas from your decorating and DIYs. Hopefully my makeover will start sometime in the near future. Your baby mouse is so adorable and looking very healthy....You’re a great Mouse Mom!!Now that I’ve written a book I’ll stop here and say thank you for the video....I’m looking forward to your next one. Hey I just wanted to let you know that rats/mice should never be kept in a tank. They are animals that need proper ventilation. Plus since they have no bathroom they pee where they stand. Rat/mice pee has a lot of ammonia in it which can build up in the tank and cause serious health problems. Most are respiratory diseases. It’s best to get a wire cage that has less than 1cm gap between bars so they can’t escape but can still get proper ventilation.

It has explains so so much about what's happened in my life. On a separate note, I've always thought we would get on irl (lol I know I sound like a total loser), but I have this theory about adhd people liking other adhd people. I do watch a few cottagecore content creators but never put you in that category. I started watching you when you first bought your cabins. I have enjoyed watching you (and Isabelle) ever since. No need to be apologetic about who you are. You make many of us happy just watching your day to day adventures and creativity.

Great video! The cute little purple flowers in your intro with the daffodils are invasive and can rapidly take over thee. Woods

It’s called vinca vine, or periwinkle, it’s super easy to remove but spreads so easily and chokes out native plants

6:41 when you found the jeans…..I listen to waaaay to many crime podcasts. My mind went down a rabbit hole. 🤣🤣. Embrace the ADHD. Although I rarely get things done, I’m never bored. My dad took me off Ritalin when I was a kid. He said he’s rather have a wild imaginative kid over a zombie. As an adult I was put on by vyvanse, but I get bored to death, although I get things done.

My great grandma raised a lost baby bird in her bra and there are many stories shared amongst family members how from time to time that bird stuck his head out of her bosom 🤗☺️🐦❤️

I always wondered about putting moss in a blender, but I figured if I just waited long enough you'd get around to it sooner or later. Thanks!

I love moss too and have grown it in new places. It grew through the winter but died when it got warm and was in the sun.

Somehow, I dont think that mouse is ever going to get a ride in the car and dumped in the woods like all the others.

You can’t release a domesticated mouse. You are a Mouse Mom for life 😀 Also poor Matt I’m sure he does his bit as Hannah said he didn’t sign up to become a KZbinr also. Great vid as always x

Cute little mousey! I kept mice and rats as pets for over 20 years, if you are stuck for finding foods they like, peas and tinned sweetcorn go down well, also human baby food for young or sick rodents. For years i gave my pet rats in particular their dried food, plus every evening some tinned sweetcorn and they seemed to really look forward to it, it made their fur lovely and shiny too.

Fun fact! You don't need to get rid of the leaves (unless you really want to). The leaves will naturally decompose to make dirt and provide habitat for creatures, bugs and little plants.

Just came across your channel......OMG Love your vibe, humor, determination, and zest for life. " If you want it done, then get it done" is a perfect motto. Thanks for the inspirations. 😇

My favorite video of yours of all time! Don't know why; can't explain it; maybe because you were smiling so much throughout this video because Desperó gives you so much joy. It made you glow. And yeah, why not follow your instincts and be spontaneous and go with the flow of the day?!? No rules!

Ahh, I knew you had ADHD! Ever since I watched my first video of yours (and hyperfixated on your channel, oops) I just felt so certain you were a fellow ADHDer. I love how you embrace how your brain works and live a lifestyle that suits it. It’s definitely comforting and inspiring.

I feel like a lot of people overthink productivity because of the internet. Doing a lot of small chores like in the video isn't unusual or weird or any of this sort. This is what every person does on a productive day and many to do's.

Hi Hannah! The morning cuddle with little one was so sweet! I’m not sure if you answered somewhere in another video, but were you able to test the mice for any viruses? I hope you’re safe! ❤️

15:52 but your viewers respond, “Hannah always manages to figure it out and get it done!” You worked so hard on the driveway, I cannot wait to see the beautiful results! Of course Despero loves you! You are a great Mom. She is yours for life now.😊

Awww she is so cute!!! She is attached and loves you Hanna: ) Don't worry about naysayers, everyone knows you are quite capable of doing your own projects!! Matt is there when you need help I'm sure. That's one of the best parts about your channel that I love, is watching you do projects. If I saw Matt doing your projects I'd be like, "Hey, she can do her own projects thank you."

Hannah you have never stopped doing and moving forward. Take a look around yourself. You did it all yourself. You deserve a lot of credit. Necessity is the mother of invention and you prove this all the time. 💝 watching your videos. Love the little🐭 too💝

When I was young I had pet mice and they liked riding around the apartment in my shirt pocket with just their head poking out. They also liked riding on my shoulder. They can be rather affectionate. Enjoy the friendship while you can as they do not have a very long lifespan. I had an aquarium with about 1/4 to 1/8 inch screen mesh for the top for better ventilation than regular screen. If they went exploring in my apartment they would eventually come looking for me. Which Despero has already done with you.
