“Oh I’m bored, what’s on Amazon” hit me like a brick. 😂 love your work Jesse. Hope you will keep it coming.

OMG 21:50 I haven't heard before, that this is because of ADHD. Now I feel relieved that I am not alone and that this feature may be a valuable asset instead of being confusing. Thank you both. Keep on sharing please:)

Yay, a Jay! 👋 I spotted him in the thumbnail and knew this was the next video I had to watch 😀 And Jesse, I’ve been following you on Twitter for a decent while (and I love the conversation threads you start) but somehow this is the first time I’ve watched any of your videos on KZbin. Coming here off the back of the “toxic productivity” vid, which was great. I’m going to actually go watch this one now - commenting before I even start so I don’t forget!

I'm 43 and just getting into coding, and I got diagnosed with ADHD at age 42. It's a challenge, but I'm getting it done.

Please keep this up. I have always told people I learn the best by people similar to me and that I can relate to. I'm abig nerd and always loved art. So watching people that I can relate to and keep my interest always helps me. I picked this video because you guys looked nerdy and had an Alternative look to you both. I'm glad I found your channel and I'm very much still trying to learn how to manage my ADHD and make my life better. It's been hard but, finding people like you make me feel not so lost and alone. Also, I've been going down the road with ADHD and trauma. So when you said the quote from Hamlet "He looked at me like I'm stupid. I'm not stupid". That really hit hard. I've told people for years I'm a smart, dumbass lol. And learning about trauma and ADHD I've learned that these are the reasons why I can go down a rabbit hole and learn all these new things but, I might forget the name or technical terms until I repeatedly learn about that topic..... it's not because I'm stupid, it's because I take in information to quickly sometimes and also deal with short-term memory issues due to ADHD and trauma. I know that was an off topic/ rant lol but, I like that you've kinda hit on those things and also I hope this makes some else not feel so alone

Great podcast! All the "vessel" purists should note that the General Dynamics shipyard where they build the naval submarines is called "Electric BOAT"

I just saw "Tetris" and turned this video on a moment ago. I f**ing love Tetris 99 so much that I don't even wince when I'm under pressure in a match. It's one of the most stress relieving games I have. I'm looking forward to checking out this podcast.

7:06 Definitely me. I can’t stand still. I walk around when at work like a weirdo. Can’t focus without taking a break.

The part where you guys were discussing how learning about something and then telling others about it really resonated with me. I remember taking a personality test in college and was labeled, The Connoisseur. I am now wondering if it didn’t have to do so much with my personality as my Brain. (And an even more interesting question, how much does personality impact you vs. ADHD?) anyways, great discussing and keep it up Jesse!

I was so lucky to be in the military. As i screwed up from job to job in the military but got new chances every 4 years or so when I moved. New job, new people, new everything. I got lots of skills in different areas of my job(s). When I retired, I didn't know what I wanted to do for work, since I was now grown up. I finally took classes to become a teacher. I am a great teacher. Unfortunately, special education is mostly paperwork, not working with the kids. So I quit that. Now I do volunteer work at a small town neighborhood thrift store. I do one thing well, but there are a million other jobs to do. I lucked into my pwrfect spot.

Ok guys, gonna rock your world if you like Tetris! “Tetris Attack.” It first came out on SNES. I came a little after Tetris, but I can’t tell you how much time I played TA as a kid. Same heart pounding feeling I bet. Anyways, just wanted to throw that in there 😊
