Its not so much what he lost physically, its more about what he lost mentally. He did fuck up the emperor once he regained his humanity. His self loathing and self hatred are what limited him. Only love made him more powerful than palpatine. Before he became vader, he was nigh unstoppable...unless his opponent had the high ground but I digress. Palpatine was so powerful as a sith lord becuase he held no self hatred or loathing. Quite the opposite in fact. His sith eyes almost always if not always glowed withe the color of immense pride as the dominant sith eye color. Luke was less potentially powerful than anakin, but he held no self loathing so he was more practically powerful than darth vader

@@1spitfyre luke has a fake arm, and although we dont see him use force lightning w/ it, or at all you cant really put it past his abilities. Personally I think its moreso about the fact that they dont have proprieoception of their prosthetics. Whereas if vader had haptic feedback prostheses, he'd have full integration with said limbs and probably be a bit closer to his full potential. Gotta remember, his suit limits his potential because its designed to do so. Its meant to cause pain and disorganization of the way he perceives his own body. His fake skin is always itchy, his suit stabs and pinches in weird ways, all to remind him that this is all his doing. So he hates himself even more. It constantly reminds him of his failures as anakin and vader. He tried to save padme, but failed, tried to be a jedi master but failed. Tried to be the emperor's equal and gain his respect or to kill him, but is continuously failing at that. Plus, I dont think he'd be able to °safely° use force lightning because it would short-circ his life support. Vader, if he wanted, could go to the caminoans and make them clone his body, then replace all of his damaged body parts with the cloned ones. His lungs, esophagus/vocal folds, his heart, limbs, skin, etc. Until he can live completely independant of his suit. But he never had the foresight to do that, or at least, he hated himself too much to allow himself the oppurtunity

Force drain isn't really special. Yes, he did it on a grand scale but that's the extent of his power. Sidious is said to become a force spirit and take control of souls from a much longer range than Nihilus. Hence, he could be immortal without needing to drain life. All he has to do is switch bodies. Not to mention, Sidious also has the potential to destroy planets by creating force storms.

The fact Darth Plaguies and Naga Sadow aren't on here is a travesty. They should replace Vitiate and Exar Kun. Especially Naga Sadow since the only reason Exar Kun is so strong is because he's using one of Naga's amulets, which was weakened from being damaged. Darth Krayt is another potential top 5 as his revival was felt by every darksider in the galaxy. He was also a top tier master of Force Lightning, lightsaber dueling, and illusions.

The thing with ranking Nihilus is that as a wound in the force, his power wasn't really working on a normal ranking scale, hell the guy didn't even have a body, his robes were empty. Thing is though that his power would've just kept growing the longer he lived, Kreia mentioned that if he's left to his own devices, he may grow too strong for the exile to be able stop him. So while he'd have grown stupidly powerful at his zenith, problem is that once he eats everything, he'll just starve to death. Nihilus wields immense power and wasn't even close to his peek, but he was also doomed from the get go. He's powerful but he's weak, Nihilus doesn't wield his power, it wields him, he's a slave to it. His power may be top 5 worthy, but Nihilus himself is easily the "Weakest" Sith of all time.

Tbh, Starkiller’s powers are exaggerated, and before I get spammed, let’s look at other Sith feats, and then look at the one that a lot of people look at and say “yup, this shit means power”, Vader has managed to pull a ship out of the air while it was jumping to hyperspace, hold back an entire lake to cross it, control giant beasts, among other things, Palpatine has shown to have defeated some of the greatest Jedi of all time, Palps also generated a force lightning so powerful it wiped out the power to an entire flee, along with (in legends) creating force storms that could destroy planets, now what has Star Killer done, best Luke, Vader, and Palpatine, and move a star destroyer, Vader, during their duel, got bested by luke cuz he held back until the end, when his suit started to fail him, Vader had defeated Palps, and the star destroyer one, was actually a falling Star Destroyer that Star Killer basically pushed away from him

Darth Nihilus is the strongest Sith to ever exist. His Force abilities surpass every Sith and Jedi combined. He became an entity so strong he had to feed on planets' force to survive. But once they did fight, it was revealed they were equal. And here we get just 1 accolade of Sidious's power: the novelization describes them both as becoming the very avatars of the light and dark sides of the Force. That alone puts them at the pinnacle where only beings actually made of the Force, like the Celestials, could possibly be stronger. Are you seriously using the fact he had a buch of servants as a point against him? He was a Senator, then Chancellor, then Emperor. He can't just run around doing everything himself. Plaguies was fully awake after Palpatine's initial attack. Yeah, Palpatine feared him at the time, and he was a complete titan, but even Plaguies's greatest feat, the feat of life manipulation, pales in comparison to Sidious's immortality. Especially since Sidious also could use midi-chlorian manpulation to control life. While Plaguies failed to save himself, Sidious went on to master essence transfer which allowed him to possess others. He became so unstoppable that it ultimately took the spirits of every Jedi to subdue his spirit and keep it in the nether world in an eternal struggle. Again, Palpatine has the best feats and accolades, rivalling or surpassing every other Sith. And BTW, you shouldn't call somone who is nowhere near omnipotent "all powerful". Only beings like Abeloth and above reach the minimum requirements to be worthy of that description in the SW universe.

But this doesn‘t matter anyways, as at this state I wouldn‘t consider Tenebrae (Vitiate) a Sith anymore (as he said he has gone beyond a Sith and uses both light and dark side). And for Sidious to die it actually took all the Jedi (who died) up to this point, well at least those who existed back when the last Dark Empire book was written (which is still a lot due to all the Legends stories).

I just want to say that I like most of your videos I liked that Vader vs Anakin video but I believe that this list is a bit incorrect but I want to say that I like most of your videos and keep up the good work . You give really no prof for why the Sith are on this list. These are my top 5 sith and I can be wrong. This list is of the top of my head and I can change my opinion. 5. Darth Vitiate. Vitiate was the most powerful of the old republic. He has probably been confirmed to have a similar level of power to sidious. Them both having statements like being a godlike avatar of the dark side. And the reason he is here is that he is more powerful than Revan. Revan has a statement of being one off the most powerful Sith along with Darth Sidious and Darth Caedus that could mean that he should be higher than this but there’s more prof on the character above him being above him and Revan was only stated to be in a similar tier as sidious and Caedus but is Stil weaker than vitiate. 4. Darth Sidious. Darth Sidious should be here because of that same statement but he has many more statements like being stated to be the most powerful sith being stronger than Darth Vader and most previous sith he has the same statements of being a god like Avatar of the force he has been stated to be stronger than any sith before him meaning that he is stronger than Vitiate. But the reason he isn’t higher is because In dark empire he lost to Luke while Luke was ampt. than 1 year later Luke was stated to be stronger than ever before logically including his Leia amp that Destroyed the most powerful version of Darth Sidious ever in dark empire comic. 3. Darth Caedus. Darth Caedus should be on the same tier as sidious via the Revan statement that said that Revan was one of the strongest Sith ever along with Darth Sidious and Darth Caedus. And I understand if you place Sidious above Caedus they can really be switched ether way but the evidence more support Caedus than Sidous. In Dark empire a pre prime Luke fought the most powerful version of Darth Sidious and won 🥇 and 1 year later he was stated to be stronger than ever before including his amp thane he gets a lot stronger after that. In Legacy of the force Luke fought Caedus and Caedus preformed Beter against a stronger version of Luke that was way stronger than he was when he defeated the strongest version of Darth Sidious meaning that Caedus is stronger than Sidious. 2. Darth Krayt. Krayt is also stated to have a sidious power level and he has also shown that he is sidious tier. And In Luke’s and Krayt he fights as a Relativ to Luke against Abeloth even do I think that Luke is stronger than Krayt they are relativ in a fight against a weakened abeloth meaning that he is stronger than Caedus. 1. Sarasu Taalon. Sarasu Taalon a member of the lost tribe of the Sith after exposing himself to one half of abeloth’s power sorce, abeloth is the the mother of the mortis son and daughter. After he exposed himself to one half of here power source he was able to BLITZ and Telekinetically manipulated a prime Luke Skywalker and destroy his force shield making him stronger than Krayt. This is the thing I like most of your videos. Say I liked your Vader vs Anakin video that video was really good 👍 but this video was a bit incorrect. And now I’m going to give examples of some things you need to consider checking if you are going to do a most powerful sith video.
