Kanye is just mad that he didn’t think of putting a 350 in a foam runner. He can’t take that someone had a dope idea aside from him.. ps these look NOTHING like foam runners. Also Kanye thinks he’s so goddamn revolutionary making foam shoes… he left Nike when FOAMposites were hype as shit. These look as close to foam runners as foamposites do. Kanye is fucking crazy and the hype for his shoes only makes his big ass head even bigger. Wanna get technical? Fill in the holes on these and they look EXACTLY like foamposites.

i picked up a pair on september 7th, so haven’t had them for long but it’s safe to say i’m gonna buy every color way. Sizing for me, i usually wear a 11.5 in most adidas shoes like ultraboost and nmds, Just like yeezy 350s for me i had to go up a half size for a better fit. That being said for most bigger people that have wider feet id definitely say go a half size up

I'll be honest. This shoe appeals to me more than the foam runner and I've had pairs of the Foam runners. Definitely, inspired by Ye. But tbh all shoe brands have been doing takedown/budget models for a while. Nike does it all the time (Air Force 1/ Sky Force; Air Jordan 1/ Air Jordan KO; Air More Uptempo/ Air Much Uptempo, even Off White x Nike/ Blazer Jumbo and countless AF1 takedowns), adidas has just been put under the spotlight just because they have the biggest name collaborator calling it out. I have no problem with this, his stuff will still sell out mostly. And for the most part having takedowns allows people who can't as afford to pay $200+ for one pair to have something similar. Sure these Adifom Q's are 120 v the foam runners 90 but most people are buying to resell for double. Also, regardless of how angry he gets, he is still securing a bag of royalties.

And there's like anywhere from 2-5 Yeezy releases a month now compared to when they originally started we'd get like one every 3-4 months if that. Even if he didn't approve Yeezy day, imo adidas still delivered on the promise to get Yeezys to everyone. They did drop the ball on not having yzy supply stores, but tbh when was the last time he dropped actual yzy season clothing? People tend to forget Yeezy was meant to be its own brand like you said; the Adidas deal was set to end 2026. I'd be pissed if I was working with GAP and Adidas only for the latter to do behind my back and not give me the infrastructure they promised four years out from end of contract. Jing Ulrich is on the Board of both Adidas and JP Morgan. Yeezy Day/Yeezy Adidas, with all that has accomplished, still has much more exclusivity than was implied when Ye was going to Payless trying to sell the initial concept about a decade prior.

Tha anger is valid from that standpoint, but again if it's in the contract you signed that they can do that and you are also not putting forth effort as we've seen him put more effort in Yeezy GAP than adidas as of late, what are they supposed to do? As a business standpoint to keep paying people to not produce is not a good thing to do. But in terms of products hitting the shelves, 380's, quantum's still sit longer and than the other silhouette's. In comparison to a Payless spread, yes what adidas delivered is still 'exclusive'. But you got to take into consideration, with what the partnership achieved, regardless of how sour it is at the moment, I don't think partnering up with Payless would've brought the same pull. Maybe they would have idk, but adidas is a direct competitor to Nike so moving from Nike to Adidas is a big deal but moving from Nike to Payless is a downgrade in terms of brand recognition. Overall, with all the talk lately and rants he's posting. We are only getting what he's saying. We do not know what the contract explicitly states nor has adidas commented officially

I don't care about all the drama between adidas and kanye to be honest. I just buy what I like and I just like the adiFOM-q more from the ground up. Hi I think you can see many brands doe this cause of sustainability reasons as well. I know there isn't a lot of sustainability in this shoe but the industry knows they have to change but can only doe this on a low skill level. This is also cause the industry isn't yet ready but the outer shells like this will be the easiest way to truly reuse material in a longer loop. So in my opinion they are not only interestet in making high profit with these kind of shoes but also to guide the consumers in to a certain direction to slowly accepting these kind of style. (Look at the future loop, it almost worked but the line isn't really available on the market since the machinery behind the process on a global scale can't even be chalanged by one of the biggest brand in the world like adidas)

For sizing I've actually gone half size up because it fits like NMDs. I normally wear 7 but for NMD's that are size 7, despite it fits but the toe area feels a bit tight ish. For Yeezy's 1 size up for me. I'm glad I got 7.5 on these because it fits well without being too tight.

Everyone saying they ripped Kanye off isn't entirely correct because Kanye didn't actually make these designs, his Head creative designer did and Adidas hired him away from Kanye. Now is that okay to do? Well if you're not under contract and you get offered a better deal that betters yours and your families life then I say all is fair. Kanye & Adidas together made millions together but Kanye is a loose cannon and you never know what you're going to get with him from day to day. Adidas without Kanye is a billion dollar company and now that they did what *ALL* businesses do throughout the world they got his designers and are moving forward. I won a pair of the Sand restocks and it came out to almost $100 after tax, immediately sold it to someone else on Grailed. adiFOMs not only have more features, but it looks like it has more utility with the stronger looking grip on the sole, the bootie cushioning and an insole inserted into the bootie. Foam runners are effectively being worn and advertised as shoes where as adiFOMs look more to be actual functional shoes as opposed to just glorified slides

Okay a foam shoe, would be fair game even if it’s close to Yeezys design (like with other shoe companies foam stuff) but you can’t say Yeezy didn’t make it a trend now, and with yeezys home being adidas it’s just plain wrong for them to make a 90% similar shoe while having Kanye and yeezys under them still. It’d be like if Nike just made a basketball shoe that looked just like jordan brand and just slightly renamed it. They definitely should’ve collaborated with Yeezys on the shoe, which he wants there to be more Yeezys anyway so it’d be cool to him.

I am still thinking about size of the shoe here... On adidas webpage sizing says that my size is 10.5 because i have 27 cm lenth of foot but my typical size is 9. Can sombody confirm if this shoe is true to size?

I just ordered the adifoam climacool white on white white orange soul on the mesh part. My wife says they look ugly but I think they look super dope and different. I can't wait to open them on Christmas and feel how soft they are ❤

Even tho I support Kanye, I personally prefer the Adifoams compared to the Foam Runners, more so due to the added liner on the inside, it makes it more of a shoe than a clog which also makes it a bit more wearable in my opinion

there is a big difference between ripoff and inspired. Ripoff would be all those boutique dunks, just because kanye made a shoe out of foam, doesnt mean all other foam shoes are ripoffs. This silhouette is clearly from an older adidas model, just with foam

I would never rock these, but man, just from a design standpoint, I'm really impressed. adidas Originals are definitely being "inspired" by yeezy, but honestly a lot of their "ripoff yeezys" look way better than the actual yeezy stuff. And you don't need to sell your kidneys to rock them.

Thanks for the early review, it can't be easy, or cheep to get these out so early. I like em a lot, but I think it's a missed opportunity to not include 3 different knit inserts to change the look since there are so many holes. I mean I see the ressemblance, but also there's a lot of differences. Like yeah Ye definitely started a trend with "foam" sneakers, but should everyone using that technology credit him ? I feel like Adidas pushed the design even further with the sock like interior, it's really something new and definitely not a rip off. Ye started something and now brands are building new styles on top of it. Not every foam shape with holes is a foam runner rip off
