Adidas confirmed that there's no lightstrike pro evo foam in the pro 4. It's just lightstrike pro but a new formulation compared to pro 3.

Great review, I had all the same issues you did with the 3 and also still loved em. So comfortable I didn't want to take them off after a run. Can't wait for the 4s

Nice to see this review Tim. Glad to hear about the updates as I never got along with the AAP3. Upper was meh for me too. Barely have 100 miles on mine. Just back from Chicago 26.2 after the Sydney 26.2 4 weeks before. I may pick these up for Boston 2025 depending on my time goal. The VF V3 have been my go-to shoe after thinking the AF V3 would be. The AF V3 now owns the men's/women's 26.2 WR. (I bought the Evo Pro 1 from RW. Still have some available in 8.5US men's....lolol) Good to see you out getting after it!!!!

Thank you, Tim, for your detailed and insightful sharing. Like you, I also really like the Adidas Pro 3, but I also have the same problem of the upper pressing on the top of my foot. The first two pairs were fine, but because I wanted to run a marathon, I bought a third pair, and then the nightmare began. Every time I finished running, I felt pain in my big toe. I thought it was a batch quality problem, or maybe it was just a random quality defect, because it's plastic material, and the analysis of plastic materials varies from batch to batch. As a result, I found that almost all reviews mention the problem with the upper. Hopefully, I won't be disappointed again this time.

I got lucky to be able to buy these. I got an email from Running Warehouse that gave me the opportunity to enter a lottery with the chance to be able to buy one of the 50 pairs they had. @ 7:54 you can tell your left hip needs releasing, this is why your left foot goes inwards and not straight like your right foot.

Exactly the same experience with the Pro3s. Love-hate-love😂😂😂 sums it up perfectly! I actually started buying the Pro2 again and found them to be more easy going and am hoping that the Pro4 wil be more P2 than P3

A adidas guy explained that the pro 4 prototype was not enough of an improvement over the pro3, untill they made the Pro EVO and used some of the tech and learnings of that shoe to ‘finish’ the pro4. Now they think it’s good enough to release!

Great review Tim! As for affordability, I was able to use 30% off to 40% coupons in the past on the Adidas store or Eastbay (RIP). The Pro 3 got a lot of discounts and hopefully the 4 as well down the road. Hope you are fully recovered and best of luck on your upcoming marathons!

I doubt im fast enough to race these in a marathon but as with the vaporfly it will probably make a great 5km / workout shoe, if not a pricey one! 😂

Hey thanks for the question. I'm glad you asked because I just got this one for the sole purpose of content creation. My other drone is the DJI Mavic Pro but I don't use it often because it's harder to use for what I want it to do... which is follow me when I run or walk. I bought the DJI Neo... it's exactly what I was looking for and it's a lot cheaper than my Mavic. I think I paid $200 US dollars for it. Have a great day.

Are the laces the same quality as the pro 3? Had problems with my pro 3 and boston 12 doing runners knot. Its just too short for a double knot and single knots just unties itself after a few minutes.

Excellent review! Would you please tell me that, my feet size is=25.5 cm. I basically use vaporfly next%2 is 26.5 cm, Saucony endorphin pro2-26.5 cm. I never used Adidas brand before. But, i heard that their size little bit big in size. So please ensure my brother that, What size can be the good comfortable for adios pro 4, if my feet size is 25.5 cm. I would appreciate.
