Nice shoe. A bit firmer than Puma Velocity 3 as Tom said. Had a long interval session in them yesterday, and they held up nicely. At the end of my 19 k session they felt a little bottomed out, but still very impressive for the price. Ran on slippery ground after rain, at the grip is good, but not at the same level as Continental or Pumagrip. A little short, so it might be a good idea to size up. Still ok for me in my normal size.

Love the feeling of the shoe, I’d just caution people with weak ankle strength or pronation needs…it’s narrow and soft for me. The first few runs had my right ankle throbbing. I adapted to it as I used it more in my rotation
@denitsakoeva92424 ай бұрын
I wondered about the stability for a supinator because I do want to pick up this shoe but I tend to roll my ankle outwards and I am a bit afraid how I would fair in a soft narrow shoe.

@@denitsakoeva9242My right ankle is weaker and moves around, mostly supination, so I have to make sure my form is not getting sloppy. Ironically, the faster I go in it the less problems I have.

@Shipwreckruns Thank you very much for sharing your perspective. It helps. I think I might need a shoe with a wider base to avoid spraining my ankle like I did just 2 days ago.

just got mine, tried it on for the first time and going a full size higher (got a 9 from my usual 8) felt incredibly comfortable.
@DV-ou1yu10 күн бұрын
As disagree with the sizing suggesting. I'm a sz 9.5 in New Balance, even the Rebels in a 9.5 fit good. I kept these TTS and they fit perfectly. No need to sz up honestly since these are pretty spacious in my opinion.

Decent shoe..Upper feels really comfortable..Heel of shoe way too soft when I first ran it...not a shoe I think of picking up the pace in.but got 100 plus miles in them and enjoy them for comfortable steady days...I always drift back to the Puma Velocity though..for me better balanced shoe..SL2 when I first put them always feel a little bottom heavy and even though the Velocity is supposed to be heavier it feels lighter on foot than SL2..find picking up pace in Velocity easier... likely because I don't enjoy a squishy shoe.

Hello. Is it suitable for very long runs close to marathon on a pace of 04:20-30? I have also heard that the black/white model runs shorter than the other colours. Is it true?
@caseous696 күн бұрын
Only in the sense that a red Ferrari is always faster. Looks amazing in whatever colourway you choose, though. For first few runs, definitely not. It softens after about 25km wear in period and I’ve done 10km runs in it without coming close to its limit. Depends on how much stability you need, but I’d use my Novablast 5 or ForeverRUN if I needed longer distances because there’s no stability support at all.

Hi Tom, novablasts are due to be retired after 700 or so k's...is this a decent alternative / similar sort of daily trainer but can pick up pace vibes ? Bought a few pairs of the NB3's when the 4's came out as I enjoyed so much. Cheers, Steven
@TomUK74 ай бұрын
I have the NB4 and have tried the SL2 on at home. The differrence is definitely in the overall quality. The SL2 doesn't have a gusseted tongue, has a non-removable insole and seems to have inferior grip to the NB4. The faom of the SL2 seems absolutely spot on though and if Adidas can improve those few things it will be a fantastic all rounder. If those things dont matter to you then it would be a good option. I'm a uk10 in NB4 an bought the SL2 in same size but its definitely half size too small. I have decided to order a Brooks Hyperion 2 gts and will do a comparison before deciding what to do. Also, the NB4 is more stable than the SL2. For me, it a better all round shoe. For me, the SL2 isn't quite there yet.

@@TomUK7 Hi tom, thanks for the detailed feedback - much appreciated. I do love the NB3's but I'm spitting the dummy with Aspics for their attitude to size 13 super shoes. Wondered if this ticked boxes...not yet it appears. Thanks again for the details.

for me whose feet have low arches, the arch area in this shoe hurts. Not "annoying", but just hurt my arch. I tried the wide version, still feel that pain. And that is while standing/walking. They have good midsoles, bouncy and moderately soft, tuned right. Sadly, I cannot wear it 😢

just remember to go half size up if you want to do long run in this shoe, which I didn't do and have to settle for an easy 5K shoe, maybe interval session in the rotation. *edit: I may have spoke too soon about the sizing issue, the fit start to loosen up after last two runs, still snug but adizero shoes supposed to be like that. plan to have a 2 hr session soon but so far I like the shoes and for wide footers definitely get the wide version, a half size up wouldn't do any good IMO
