Great review! I too was very pleased with the boost/lightstrike combo in the TERREX Speed Ultra shoe. The Agravic Ultra seems like a well built and thought out shoe. It seems that a lot of people are overlooking this shoe (not sure why). Great feedback and appreciate your thoughts on the Agravic Ultra.

As already mentioned, if you get a chance to check out the Speed Ultra they are phenomenal. Fast, snug heel and mid with enough toe box for splay. Anything up to 50k, so long as not muddy, and they're my preference. Speed machines on the trail (or road)!

Great review mate, I love the colours on those and big fan of the funky sole wish more shoe companies made a nice looking sole. I find mens running gear pretty boring and drab looking. Be nice to see some funky shorts too. Loving the socks by the way!

Stunning looking shoe! I asked and you reviewed it. So thanks for that bro. Shame about the heel. Think I will stick with the Nike trail 3. Just wish it had a continental outsole. The new balance heirro v7 has caught my eye! New outsole and they’ve reduced the weight dramatically. Freshfoam is a comfortable midsole

Great shoe and I agree with everything you've said. I've got boney ankles and they niggled like hell when running on a camber. 50 miles in and they are not softening up.

Adidas have always fitted my foot shape really well, always feel secure in them. The weight of those would really put me off though. I have just got a pair of their Terrex Speed SG for a good price, very much a more fell shoe style, looking forward to trying them on some muddy runs.

Great review, really like the look of this shoe (especially the colours) but nervous about the ankle - struggled with my achilles 😱 earlier this year and don't think this will help. Looking at the Innov8 xtalon 260 ultra V2 at the moment - next review please?

A bit sad to hear about the upper/ankle issues. I have been enjoying my terrex SPEED ultras a lot. Same midsole material boost/litestrike but much lower stack and shallower lugs so I was hoping this might be a good companion to take on longer distances/ultras. But even if it loosens up that ankle will probably cause issues beyond the marathon distance. Hope they fix this in a next version.

I don't know if you had the chance to test the terrex speed ultra? They are just amazing..this is the model that all terrex pro team wear on most of their competition....let me tell you...they are just fantastic for everything from short race up to 80k and maybe à bit more for some!!! Only defect is durability of the outsole which tends to crack early...but boy i get them on sale when i see my size and i manage to buy already 3 pairs...that how good they are for me!! And i m still using my first pair...with 3 unworns in à safety stock just in case :-)

Great review never sure with Adidas or Nike if its all advertising hype or the real deal more competition in the trail shoe world can only be a good thing! Would love to see a review of the terrex speed SG trail 225's they look a lot like adidas found the plans to the classic old salomon sense slab SG with the chevron lug pattern one of my all time favorite trail shoes that made me feel I could run over anything.

@@Run4Adventure couldn't agree more. Nike's trail shoes are all about hype just like their ACG line, which sole quality has been an issue. Very satisfied running trails on Adidas Terrex Two Parley.

I actually prefer the adidas shoe Craig. I'm still waiting for the ankle collar to soften up a bit more but it is better already 👍 The outsole grip and traction is much better on the Agravic compared to the Vectiv. Isn’t that 299 stand for sole thickness and not the weight? I am running in adidas terrex two (great shoes!) and there is 300 which means that there is exactly 300mm of light strike foam under my heels.

No it's definitely the average weight of the shoe Bartlomiej because if you look at all the other adidas shoes in the Terrex range it's the same thing. The number on the shoe is the same as the average weight. Inov-8 do a similar thing with there shoes as well 👍

Conti rubber is some of the best I've used, got both the Adios 6 and Takumi Sen 8. I'm after a good trail shoe, could this be the one.... Like yourself, love running in the dark only for it to become light. You notice everything coming to life. I'm not quite good enough to do the arc, don't you buddy up and swap who runs and who acts as your crew each year?

Totally agree Darren the Conti rubber is super sticky when it goes to grip! However I did run the Agravic Ultra in the mud the other day and I'm really not impressed with the level of traction or should I say lack of traction! 😲 More to come on that in my full review of the shoe, thanks for watching 🙏

I've always rated their boost compound and the outsole on Adidas shoes they do need breaking in but after that they're pretty sound. That being said there's a lot better out there 👍🤙

Hello sir, how would you rate the size? I do own the Agravic TR GTX in 45 1/3 and it fits me well. In my case, would you pick 44,5 for the Agravic Ultra as it has much thinner material or stick to 45 with this one as well? Thanks in advance bud.

It's hard to say Calvin because I haven't run in the Agravic TR GTX, so I'm not sure how it compares on sizing. I always go up half a size in adidas and that seems to work for me. I'd personally stick with the same size as your other pair 👍 Hope this helps and thanks for watching the channel 🙏
