Most of us with mixed ethnicity, race, culture and heritage get to experience different histories at once by growing up in mixed families and it's something to embrace. More often that not you'd find people ashamed of their mixed backgrounds and it's sad because they're ashamed of themselves.

This was interesting but not surprising. I always say that if more people did a DNA test there just might be less racism in the world. Long before the transatlantic slave trade, Africans were trading with various parts of the world. For instance, the Portuguese were trading in Nigeria and traders from West Africa crossed the Sahara to trade with Arabs and vice versa. Obviously this led to mixing which may not be obvious in physical appearances over time till you have a throwback.

A woman is the soil that produces the egg, a man is the tree that produces the seed. Therefore the bloodline follows from father to son, not mother to son. Hence the seed is more important than the soil. I once met a french guy in the supermarket who told me he is Ethiopian. He went on & said that his father is French & mother is Ethiopian.
