I remember drawing something just like this as a teenager after visiting Las Vegas with my family in the 1990's. I even named it "Sphere" Hotel/Resort. It's amazing to see that something from my childhood fantasy drawings of an imaginary Vegas neon spherical building actually really exists now in real life. I will definitely visit this on my next Vegas trip!

Hopefully MSG might have plans to build Sphere venues in places like Atlanta, as well as Los Angeles, New York City, Charlotte, Chicago, and a couple other U.S. cities, and maybe a couple other international cities like Paris, Sydney, and a couple more places, as well as London. I could see Atlanta Sphere being a great addition to the existing skyline/cityscape of the Southeast U.S. city that I live close to. It's a thought.

I don't want to be that guy, but tbh it's useless. If a sphere like that was built in China or Dubai (UAE), people would criticize the hell out of it.
@razerss7 ай бұрын
I would criticize China over it due to one thing. In a total of 3 whopping years, China has used more concrete than most countries combined have used in the entire 21st century. (and wasted most of it with the ghost cities, rotting apartment buildings, etc.)

@@razerss China’s ghost cities are a myth. They are built empty and slowly have thousands move in over time. They just build the cities before anyone is there And either way, idk how it’s suddenly a bad thing that a country cares about affordable housing. Why not complain about the fact that house prices have nearly doubled in the past 10 years in the U.S.?

Funny how the company is $100 million in the hole for 2023. I love the concept, but it's almost too good for today's music. I can only think of a handful of bands who have the resources to be able to rent that venue and make a show which would properly make use of the technology.
@TruNorth-ns6wb6 ай бұрын
Idk bro there's 10s of current bands/artists just off the top of my head that'd be able to both successfully fill the seats and sufficiently incorporate 100% of the new available tech into their performances. Ex: Travis Scott, System of a down, 30 seconds to Mars, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Beyonce, Kanye, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, A$ap Rocky, Korn, Tyler the Creator, even Yaughty and his newest album have insane potential.. Orchestras, Operas, and a plethora of late artists and the never ending demmand for their memorial shows, and ect. ect. ect... All of which already routinely put on incredibly intricate artistic performances in venues FAR less capable lbs... And this is all disregarding the venues use for sporting events, Original content, huge budget films, Vegas residencies, and other staple performances like magic shows and broadways, or that line of showgirls doing the high kick dance routine. So much shit. Basically a lack of potential and capable content being an issue isn't even a pixil within the vast cosmic microwave background radiations grand scale of things that can go wrong in todays world regarding Vegas Venues, new technology, or corporations. ANDDD as for the $100 mill in the hole. Didn't you hear the track record of this company's achievements? The best Superbowl and Olympic stadiums ever constructed giving both state side and international esteem. And now The Sphere to bolster their profile.. Furthermore their name/ assets/ and yearly profits combined is a package that's more then likely worth north of a few billion $s... Tbh If needed they could secure $100 mill within minutes of a "hat on hand" type campaign aimed at the general public alone, not considering private investors or philanthropists. Or simply an offer to build the newest next generation building in the highest bidding city. And weave in their $100 mill deficit into the cost of labor, planning, building materials and machinery, permits ect. Then tack on a cool $600 mill (+or- a couple hundred mill) for the constuction fees and walk away whistling and twirling a cane on their way to the bank as a still very much alive and well corporation... But hey, don't take my word for it I'm a jobless 32 yr old addict that had just stayed in a tent encampment for the past year and now currently living at my moms, own no vehicles, suffering withdrawls cold turkey daily, a gf thats now in prison, a couple warrants myself, only like 2 outfits, and incredibly I no longer own 1... single.. item, trinket or thread of clothing that I did this same time last year. (Which was enough to fill up my lit Minneapolis crib with a backyard engulfed by a panoramic view of the entire city skyline) and still enough excess shit to fill a very large storage unit.. All of which I've regrettably let slip through my fingers like fine gold dust.. So yes, don't take my word for it. My word is worthless and I'm just bored and depressed and miserable. So I'm here banging out a mf novel full of big buzz words, non researched opinions offered up as factual statements and paragraphs full of cheap "no shit dumbass" consequentially learned "wisdom" earned from 'common sense' mistakes. The same 'common sense' mistakes that any Neanderthal worthy of a conception, and not a contraception should just be born with, a deep seeded knowledge to be able to recognize an avoid making obvious mistakes, an embeded fail-safe within the Dna. Courtesy of our ape ancestors and a millenia of their low IQ tendances that resulted in a red flag mentality. The same redflags that poisonous insects and snakes, deep dark water, hot fire, and fear of heights will trigger. But still mistakes I make almost willingly, and exclusively. Like yes, I will sell my soul for dope, yes I will do all dope at once, while im high already right before going to bed, knowing Ima be sick af in the morning and no way to gather motivation to get up and aquire what I'll need to get well. And instead spend the rest of my money on a New York times yearly subscription just to read an article about a newly discovered "super large" microorganism erected from deep in an Alaskan permafrost.. or some shit. While I lay in an always unprecedented heap of discomfort, anxiety, fatigue, and despair. Rethinking the same "I need dope" matnra over and over again in an ettempt to manifest matter from thin air. Endlessly just wishing I had more dope. While ignoring messages from various plugs blowing me up, in fact, about getting more dope... In a true self sabotage style. A self sabotaging procrastination. Fueld by dred and mourning over what my life has become. Cursed to relive it all in an endless loop of negative thoughts and destructive actions, creating an almost perpetually fueld centrifugal force that creates such an immense amount of gravity that its eternally weighing me down... Yes... so do not take my worthless word for it. For I'm dead inside. My brains withering in atrophy, leaving just my frontal cortex and lobes intact enough to still be active but only on a primordial instinctual level, void of any human traits. Hungry. Not for food or water or anything consumable other then dope. Just a Zombie, The Walking Near-Dead, The Regrettably Living Dead, Ect. Regardless of the terminology its all the same meaning. I'm just a former shell of myself, a shadow person that's left forever staining the background of debris and destruction left from my former life, just an inferno hellscape now. The aftermath of the Hiroshima level event that has decimated it.. That first hit. I Might as well have just overdosed off that first hit so the world would be a little less damaged... So yea... Just don't take my word for it buddy.

Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Ephesians 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
